I hope so. Even if it a low ankle sprain, a grade 2 sprain can be a best case 3 weeks rest and up to 6 weeks out.

Hopefully the severity is low, but we're not completely out of the woods yet. Even our best case scenario is bleak since the next two games are against good teams and will decide whether or not we are playing a home game in the playoffs or not. There's very little chance of him being ready to go in the next 10 days.... We're going to miss him sorely these next two games, and you know what our record is when he's hurt (reminder: not good).

I mean the team is 10-4 still and they've already beaten Baltimore. Without TJ I think we can scream doom and gloom, but we don't know if he's going to be down for any length of time yet.

Team was still in it until that fumble and the drive after that by Philly in the 4th quarter.

That's the big issue with that call.

Apparently from what we were told they went back and looked at the tape and determined that the penalty occurred after the ball was kicked, but didn't show it on the broadcast.

The actual video is out there of the play and it shows that the ball had not been kicked yet. It's been shared.

Officials on the field called it Steelers ball and the guy that committed the penalty was on the field taunting the offense as they were coming back on the field (That's from the Steelers post-game show "Mike & Charlie") they get the straight feed.

Charlie believes the Steelers will get an apology letter after the fact.

Slay throws 2 punches right in front of the ref that's breaking them up, then mitchell is just firing them at Austin.

For them to say that video was reviewed and no punches were observed being thrown by the Eagles players? This is the type of stuff that causes this doubt. Just say you screwed it up right off the bat. Don't tell us the video was reviewed and they saw nothing when we all saw the video! The TV tape showed the same thing!

The timing of this just stinks to high heaven! Just got worked over in a ToP game 40 to 20 and going into a divisional rival game on a Saturday, with a wednesday game coming up after that. The recovery is going to be brutal for the defense after this game not even considering the Christmas game.

 

Just want to thank whoever invented the condensed game. The first half suffered through live watching, then just came back and watched the condensed version for the 2nd half.

Nice to get it over with and move on. Best thing is, I'm barely even mad because I hardly put in any effort in watching just like the product on the field.

 

If that's true I'm going to be furious. Fox did a half-assed job of covering that play. Went to break without telling us if it was 1st down or not, and then just said it had been reviewed with no replay to support it. I had assumed the explanation was correct though. If not that's just another terrible job of officiating in a long line of that.

The Chiefs announced that Mahomes has a high ankle sprain. We might be getting Carson Wentz in 10 days instead of Mahomes.

 

The officials shouldn't have penalized Adams at all, but that they gave the Eagles a first down on that but didn't give the Steelers one on the blow to the head by Carter was a disgrace. It is clear the ball was punted after Carter did it, not before. That's the part the officials got wrong.
