Steelers vs colts will be on a saturday!

They're thinking he might be out 3 weeks so it's likely we won't see him but Zach Moss is a pretty good back too.

 

Well this sucks! I'll be in Osaka about to take a Shinkansen back to Yokohama. Might have to take one of the boys Tablets to watch on the train!

 

My son and I went to the Las
Vegas game and it was stupid obvious how much fake noise was pumped into that stadium while the Steelers were on offense! Our entire section was laughing about it. The decibel level on the screen was showing 114 and everyone was sitting there as if they were attending church.

 

Do you remember this Indy game? I think it was a Monday nighter and Indy was found guilty of what
you and your son experienced in Vegas.

 

Yea we were talking about it while in Allegiant Stadium. I should have video taped it and filed some sort of complaint. I could have easily showed the 114 decibel level on the screen and everyone sitting down just talking and laughing at how bad it was. Hindsight is always 20/20 though.

 

Their have only been 2 games for me that were not on regular TV the Texans and Jags. The Titans game was on Prime which I have.

The Arizona game is a TV game for me. And the cheats on Prime but I will be there to see that one!

Lucked out this season

Two Saturday games and then a 4:05 start with Seattle and then end it with the purple crows which i'm sure I will be close to the fridge for!

 

Also, it gives them an extra day of rest before going to Seattle, the first of two tough road games to finish the season.

 

I like Saturday games. Plus, they are pretty much considered prime time, so I don't have to worry about watching it on NFL+.

 

Last time I missed a game for a wedding it was in 1994(against KC with Joe Montana), and it was terrible. I hurried up, and got ready, watched the 1st half, and We were up....had to go to the wedding...as soon as it was over I ran to My truck, and turned on the radio.... only to find out We had lost. They are now divorced.....so they actually wasted My time.

 

As I laugh at those of you with conflicting schedules I just noticed I have theatre tickets for 2pm that day at a small town theatre

I pondered this and I made note of the bar/restaurant across the street that has good food and big screen TVs at the bar

I also checked I have end seats and can out maneuver anyone else aiming that way after the show

 

Speaking of obligated obstructive activities. My granddaughters first birthday party is Sunday at 2 pm. We are having it a legion that has a separate bar with TV. This is in Bungleland but to my advantage the kitty kats play MNF. Now I just have to figure out my excuse of why it took me so long to go grab a beer. I might sound like a bad grandpa but yesterday was her actual 1st BD and we already celebrated that with the immediate family. This is just a second one for daughter and son in laws friends. I think I’m clear.

 

You’re good. I was at my cousins funeral and my wife and I snuck over to the adjoining bar to get a beer and see the beginning of the Steelers playoff game. Next came my uncle the father of my cousin. Then the rest of the family and friends except the dead guy. He was creamated so in hindsight I guess he could have been brought along as well.

 

This story sounds so familiar in Western Pa!

You mean the playoff game? I was at a wedding, too. It was at a restaurant/event venue. They had a bar. Almost every guy at the wedding, including the father of the bride was in the bar watching the game. You'd run out to the reception for a few minutes, then run back into the bar. That couple didn't last, either. A whole 'nother story, lol.

 

Moss is good but Taylor would worry me because he has that big play ability.

 

The way I heard it, Taylor would be out two-to-three weeks, so he could play against the Steelers.

Yes....the playoff game. So We both had our time wasted. LoL. If We could have watched the whole game ....we may have won. LoL.
Every time I go to a Wedding that they later get divorced....I always feel like they wasted My time.
I know someone that has been married 5 times.....I went to the first three, and they asked why I didn't show up at the last two.....I was like You already wasted my time, 3 other times....., and maybe I'll come to the next one. LoL
Needless to say their spouse didn't like that answer.

A friend who is a big outdoorsman received an invitation for his sisters third wedding and it was on the opening day of trout season
