That was a terrible job by the defense. No excuse for the way they got abused on that possession.

Kicking the field goal on the opening drive was still the right call, but they should have run Bell on second-and-two. Make the Chiefs stop the damn run. Also, Rogers has to run his route past the sticks on third down.

You can talk about the script all you like, but Kansas City is simply executing better so far.

 

Long way to go here, no time to panic. Not big on Alex Smith, but any pro can pick you apart if he has time. Have to make him uncomfortable.
