Steelers vs Bungles OFFICIAL Game Thread

Yeah, we have an understanding

 

I stopped watching in the 3rd quarter and went to Home Depot to buy a dishwasher. This was no doubt the reason the Steelers won.

 

A tale of two halves for sure in this game. I would have to give a ton of credit to the coaches for the second half turnaround. Being down to a bad team especially the Bengals could have gotten in their heads. But they kept them focused, kept muddling on offense, played great on D and they kept chipping away. All for a big win for sure. Great comeback. Next week is going to be GREAT!

 

I think, unfortunately, we need to root for the Raiders today so they can keep pressure on the Patsies for home field advantage, just in case something stupid happens next week because NE plays Miami the last game of the year.

If we win next week, then we go back to hating them, lol. But then again, maybe it would be better if the Raiders got the #1 seed?

I, hereby, FESS UP. I turned off the game late in the 1st half, figuring the Steelers had blown it. I watched a couple of HGTV shows, then turned back to "check on" the game.....and watched about all of the 2nd half.

The Steelers were a DIFFERENT team!!! The Defense smothered the Bangles, the Bangles bungled away via idiotic penalties, I saw the Steelers NOT retaliate against Birfuct and his antics.

Roethlisberger still concerns me a bit.....he had some bonehead plays, but gotta give him credit....he came through when needed.

This was a "whew" win......but a WIN!!!
