    Redman can't do half the things Mendy can. He may be stronger, but strength isn't everything, not like it used to be. Look at Blount and Brandon Jacobs, both huge, powerful guys, but not very good RB's. Redman is no different. Big and strong, but not a ton of talent. If he ever ends up our primary RB, we'll never have a running game.

    I'm watching streaming from what I guess is a British coverage of the NFL. First, really weird to hear expert commentary in a British accent. Second, the commercials are great.

    Just so you know, Mendy is our #4 RB in average per carry, and yards after contact so far this season. I agree he has the most physical talent of any of our backs, but talent isn't everything either. Food for thought.

    The primary RB will almost always have a lower YPC average then the change of pace backs will. That's the way it is for almost every team. The fact is, if we utilize Mendy like a RB should be used, he's got the ability to be top 5 in the league. If we just continue to run into a pile of bodies at the line and hope to pop out the other side or move the pile for another 2-3 yards, then fine, throw Redman in, but that's not the way to run the ball. Mendy can break off a 50 yard run at anytime, Redman can't. Mendy can make people miss in the open field, Redman can't.
