I didn’t know there was a rule where I need to keep up with non sensical posters who are just trying to win an argument

Dave on Steelers Depot said he only played on Special Teams yesterday (5 snaps) ... hopefully that is a good sign they just want to ease him back in and not get him hurt again.

Arguing over Mason and Trubisky is like arguing whether Tweedledum or Tweedledee is better. Neither is starter material and we have to hope both can fill the role of QB if Kenny goes down. If Trubisky is the placeholder on field goals, I think he gets the nod for QB 2.

Ah... I see. Fair enough! Doubly so since Atlanta is literally only days away. Definitely cannot wait to see more of him to conclude the Preseason.

There were two defenders there, but both were trailing Washington. Put that high and outside and it might be a touchdown. They didn't have him bracketed. The defensive back wasn't in a position to make a play. The linebacker was, but that is a mismatch in Washington's favor. It was the right decision, but thrown a little too low. Both of Rudolph's near interceptions were poor decisions. Both times, he was baited by defenders who read what he was doing and had a great jump on the ball.

You just don't like that you posted something that was factually wrong and I pointed it out. You claimed that most of what the Steelers did last night was against backups. It wasn't. The Steelers were up 14-0 by the time both teams took their starters out. Oddly enough, another poster explained the same thing and you conceded your mistake. Do better.

Where did I say that Trubisky is great and Rudolph stinks? Last week I said that Rudolph played better than Trubisky.

You're talking to me like I always attack Rudolph or I only criticize Rudolph. Nothing can be further from the truth. I was one of the people that thought he played well last week and said so. I don't bash him and I don't bash Trubisky. I just comment on the performances in games, and how each did over training camp.

So Tomlin should have told Warren after his 62 yard TD run, "Look I know you had 60 yards of daylight ahead of you but you should have fallen down after about 10 yards so we can work on sustaining drives"! Or maybe he should have told Austin "Look that was a great return but we don't need 55 yard returns right now, it's more important that we have a sustained drive"!

You clearly can't see any play involving Trubisky or Rudolph clearly.

Folks, the Buffalo Bills never showed up for this game. The Steelers did. With the additions
the Steelers have made over the off season and the draft has improved their roster dramatically.
Barring injuries they can now compete with the playoff teams.

He is right....I mean you said that the offense were not able to have sustaining drives. This is because the steelers did not have the chance to do it(first team offense, who care what the second or third unit do after that)

Last year in the second half, this offense was great to sustaining drives. So this is the last thing I am worry about this offense. The thing they need to do this season is to have more big play and so far in the preseason, this is great. You can't do everything in a game especially when you have only 2 drives in a games....But if you complain even after 3 TD in 3 drives during the preseason, you will never be happy

Last season has no bearing on this season. That team is gone. This team still has to prove it’s metal. If you want to play bully ball as they’ve claimed repeatedly they have to practice it. They can’t just show up on Sundays and hope it’s going to work

The Steelers only had 3 rushing attempts with their first unit...We shouldn't jump to conclusions about such a small size

He's talking about the first team. They had 3 rushes, 2 three yard runs by Harris and a 62 yard run by Warren. The backup running game did look really bad with Green the epicenter of that failure.

The first unit had only 2 other runs...2 RUNS

It's a crazy overreaction and overanalysis on it.The thing I want to see from the steelers this year is to be more explosive....ball control, they proved in the second half last year they could do that...not because it is a new season they are no longer able to do that...they have the same roster as last year, except for a new LG and 2 new WR

If you're worried about just 2 runs or 5 runs, if you include the game against Tampa Bay, it's crazy:facepalm:

IMO center is a very important position for the offense and if Greenie the weenie is our center we will have troubles due to him.

Anderson played the last few series at center. Played every o-line position but left tackle.
