    I'm tired of Ike Taylor.
    He's all or nothing.

My hat is off to the Browns. Nobody thought they had a chance. Unlike the Steelers, their coaches made adjustments and came out to win the game after halftime. Our defense sucks as usual but why did the offense shut down in the second half? This is going to be another under achieving season. At least tomlin will look cool standing on the sidelines.

Once or twice is excusable. A regular occurrence is a pattern.

Since it's a typical pattern no matter the personnel, there's one constant: Tomlin himself.

We can say that about a lot of this team's wins over the past few seasons.

Maybe. But wins vs Chiefs and Colts in 2011 are right up there, too.

As usual I'm just relieved we got the W. No matter what you say/see/hear division rival wins are tough in the NFL so the W is what matters.

As for the rest, was all the damage done in the 3rd? Did the D go nappy time?

    Shazam looked good!

Gilbert got his ass kicked today. Mitchell the big free agent signing was garbage. Brain farts by the coaching staff abound. Weird with the 2nd half flag fest. J. Brown, and Wheaton did good today. Some good and a lot of bad to pick a part today. Short period of time to get it rectified by Thursday. But a W is a W and look foreward to getting another in 5 days.

Gilbert played like hot garbage for sure. He looked like the worst player on the field to me. Also Jarvis Jones is feast or famine it seems to me. There was poor tackling. There was busted coverages. There as incredibly soft spots in zones. We don't seem to be able to think on our feet defensively. I saw a lot to be concerned with today. I thought Shazier played good for the most part. I saw him once pounding his chest as to say that he was out of position. I know that is to be expected.

Derek freakin anderson just converted a 4th and 1 qb sneak for carolina. We should be running it, Idk why we don't.

Of course! I meant in the thread... did I miss any mega-arguments? On the spot confessions? Did BFT mention feet again?

ok- maybe this has already been pointed out/discussed-

but I don't ever, in 42 years of watching this team, recall seeing them blow a 24 point lead.

    Maybe 3 years ago?
They had epic second half collapses then. Or was that 2 years ago?

yes they did, but not of the 24 point variety.

I just checked online, and sure enough, I'm reading that had they lost the game, it would be the biggest squandered lead in team history.

Boy, that would have set the tone for the season! Glad we won but we've got some serious issues, especially on defense, that need to be dealt with.

    Yay? We won?
Great 1st half, no earthly idea who was calling plays in the second half.
