You go with the overall percentages and odds. Overall, percentage of teams getting a 1st down on 4th down is pretty low and the odds of the Brownies going 4 for 4 on the night on 4th down was in our favor. My money would have been they did not get it but we will never know. It was illegal touching...not intentional grounding. Had that lineman not touched ball when he tried to catch it, we would have probably gotten the intentional grounding.

 

They don't have the personnel to replace him with. Lost the one they wanted to swap with Jones with to injury.

It was slipping out of his hand as he started to throw it and then was hit by Queen. He wasn't trying to throw it there, hence why it wasn't intentional.

 

Realistically, I think we need two more wins to coast in. The Colts schedule is pretty weak after Detroit. They could conceivably go 4-2. The Dolphins might be able to finish 5-2 as well. Those are the only real threats.

One more win gives us a very good chance, two seals it.

 

If ur getting beat that bad I would try to hold garret , people hold watt every play and get away with it

We didn’t deserve to win the game. They converted 4-4 on 4th down. Hell, they would’ve converted on 4th and long had it been grounding. Our D couldn’t get a stop when it mattered most. And our offense the bed again.

 

Why are u blaming our players ? We did some crazy good **** on d fence and Russ had a couple passes , our coaches lost us this game !!!!!!!!

Not sure if mentioned but the 15 yard punt cost is the game imo. A 40 yard net punt would’ve given us the Dub imo. Instead of starting at their own 30, they started the last drive at our 40.

 

Tomlin hasn’t won a playoff game in almost a decade. Hoping for a playoff win is just wasting hope.

 

Coaches and players, both. Russ makes poor decisions, hence the sack inn2st quarter. Receivers don’t get open and D didn’t get the stop end of Game.

I think we should have played a field position game. Going for it multiple times on 4th down is stupid. Didn't give them enough respect. Paid for it.

 

I just watched the hail mary ... and correct me if I'm wrong ... was that not a late hit on Wilson? And, why did none of the wr's know where the ball was? All two of them had to do was turn around and jump.

 

He hit him hard and if that's one of the Golden QB's there's a flag coming in there, but it wasn't egregiously late.

 

To be fair, he has kept Myles largely in check in previous seasons. This was the first really bad outing against him.
