Well you know what they say about statistics and that is why games are played (and why I won't bet on them)

Yup. The Steelers have actually played really good teams a lot tougher than Buffalo as well. The Patriots are the only difference.

Keep in mind that Allen, whom I really like btw, doesn't do very well against defenses that can get to the QB. He's improving but his recognition if still a bit wonky.

Don't need to. Only need 20 lately. 20 will beat the Bills.

The Bill's didn't play bad against bmore tbh. They did a far better job than NE did.

Well, NE played the ratbirds away. Buf played them at home. That has a little to do with it.

SMART!! I study all the stats and injuries and bla bla bla then place my bet and by week 8-9 I have lost all the money I set aside for betting on the NFL. My biggest winner this season was week 1 taking the Patriots over our boys. After that it was all downhill.

I think this has more to do with the OC than the QB, RBs and WRs. Finctner has been very conservative, but we are winning.... so who am I to complain?

30 points is over rated. Why not be the first team to win the SB averaging 20 points a game? now that's excitement. Let's see how little we can score and still win. You have to have a plan.:smiley1::cool:

2000 Ravens didn't light up the scoreboard but they won the SB. Likewise with the 2002 Bucs. IMO, Duck can be better than Dilfer and Johnson.

If memory serves didn't Dilfer light it up in the Super Bowl. probably his best game of his career and I believe they rewarded him by letting him go.

Dilfer was 12-25 for 153 yards and 1 TD in the SB, not exactly lighting it up.

Our defense is going to have to be even better than it has been.

Who needs this game more from a statistical point of view? We do right?

Scoring 30 & 300 yds of offense will calm some nerves around here...lol

Lol I meant like bills can afford a loss and likely still make the playoffs while we have titans nipping at our heels

I'm doing all I can to conjure up the ghost of Gary Jones knocking Don Beebe into the middle of next month. That play helped break the stronghold the Bills had over the Steelers in the Jim Kelly dynasty. :thumbs up:

    Steelers = Team of Destiny.

If I'm wrong and the Steelers win tonight.... there's something special brewing for the 2019 season.

Beat the Bills... and HeinzMustard will start to believe. I'm a man of logic and reason. There is nothing logical or reasonable to make me think the Steelers are anything better than one and done in the playoffs (at best) due to past experiences, injuries and Tomlin's 3 playoff wins in 9 years. This team may be different. An anomaly.

Don Beebe has one of my all time favorite SB moments. Cowgirls were destroying the Bills and got cocky with a fumble recovery. Beebe chased the guy down and knocked ball out of his hands. His look was priceless.

Beautiful thought!! I'm on the other side of the coin. Even a Steeler win tonight will not change my mind that this team (which I love this season) is one and done if it makes playoffs. Just can't see the offense doing anything special with Duck under center.

I would think that since they are having a good season. Seeing how you traveled further you deserve the victory.

I think Duck and Finctner will attempt to run the full "Roethlisberger" playbook before it's over. For better or worse... we're gonna see what we have in #6.
