Steelers vs Bengals, Ravens Vs Browns moved to 4:25

Game times moved from 1pm to 4:25pm starts.

 

Really don't like that.

 

Yes! This means that training camp 2019 will be 3 hours closer when the season ends.

Kickoff for our Week 17 matchup vs. the Bengals at Heinz Field has been moved to 4:25 PM ET on CBS.

 

I would rather they both played at 1

 

I would rather the Steelers play at 1 pm and the Rats at 4:25 pm. Makes more sense in several ways.

 

It's a nice change for those of us who would have to watch on GamePass. Hopefully, I will get to watch the Steelers live. If not, at least I only have to wait about a half hour after the games end rather than nearly four hours to watch. It's easier to avoid the scores that way. I just wish there was some way to miss the scores from Baltimore while watching Steelers-Bengals.

I don't think they would ever move one and not the other. That possibly gives the team in the late game the advantage of knowing the result before the game starts. If the Steelers play early and lose or the Ravens play early and win, it takes all of the meaning out of the other game. Why would the NFL want an extra meaningless game?

 

In that scenario, if the Steelers would lose, that would make the late game meaningless for the Ravens. They can't get the three seed. That means there is a good chance they would sit their starters, or at least take many of them out early. Why would the NFL want to create another meaningless game?

 

I'll prob get the KC game anyway if they play at the same time

 

Except for the fact that they wouldn't be able to keep both games interesting at the same time

 

Just keep both games at 1 PM. I hate late afternoon games and really really hate night games. Too many drunken idiots who want to act like Aholes.

 

Nah, when they take the victory formation, I want to know if that’s it or not.

 

Gotta rely on Baker Mayfield now and the Browns to somehow someway shock the Ravens at home. It’s unlikely but stranger things have happened so you still just never know. At the end of the day though Steelers got what they deserved and now have to rely on someone else to get them in. It’s a terrible spot to be in but the Steelers have nobody to blame but themselves for this. So we’ll let things play out and we’ll see what happens.
