Better question is why not call something with an outlet receiver so the QB has someone to dump to. Should be a no-brainier with all the pressure they've been bringing.

We don't have intelligent enough coaches to do that. We aren't going to "live in our fears" so I guess we are going to "lose in our arrogance". We never grasp situational playcalling. We just don't. You have a 3rd stringer dropping back when you're LEADING and your FRANCHISE QB has just gotten hurt DROPPING back and you still have the gall to call a play like that?! We are stupidly coached and I'm not backing down. I don't know if it's Tomlin or Haley but somebody is really stupid.

If we're going to win this we need the defense to either score or get us a turnover deep where we can at least get a FG.

Why can't we just run a draw play on third and forever like every other team in the league? Especially up 15.
