Haley did not call an incomplete pass. D probably expecting a pass on 2nd and 10, so running might work.

 

90% of teams do this in the NFL. They do it to try to get 4-5 yards and put themselves into a managable 3rd down. This is nothing exclusive to our team

 

With the exception of two games this year this offense looks like the same old same old with the exception of the addition of Bell and the emergence of Brown. The red zone suck continues as does the lack of ball security and inconsistency.

The defense is doing its job early this is when we need to score not have what happened last week

 

Is it just me, or are their gunners getting essentially free releases every time we receive a punt (not just this game)....but ever time WE punt, it seems like the receiver has time????

 

He leads the league in punting. Steelers ddon't need to get into a punt fest today.

 

Or it might not. That's part of the problem with our offense ... we're always trying to fool the defense by doing the unexpected instead of lining up and beating them.

 

The defense is giving us some opportunities early with some nice stops. We need to get a drive going here.
