The stadium itself it great as it’s new and shiny. But they just plopped it in an area in San Jose that’s near office buildings and 40+ miles away from San Francisco. Maybe after they buy out and build out the surrounding area it will be better.

The entire game was not good. Bet you when they grade his game on film, he is about average. There were several plays, where he was definitely not giving everything he has, because he stands out when he's going 100%. The things I'm talking about, besides effort, are angles on the pass rush, defeating blocks, basically some of his tech was not great! Purdy was rarely to never pressured outside of those few instances. Remember, that a game has MANY more plays than 3-4.

It’s only one game but with that being said the hype I bought for this team I threw it in the trash. We looked like the teams that prime Ben trashed where we could relax. The game was already lost by the first quarter that’s pretty sad.

Purdy was pressured most of the times he didn't get the ball out quickly. I really wonder if you were even watching the same game. Watt beat plenty of blocks. There wasn't much pressure inside, which is no surprise with Heyward out, and the coverage was terrible. Those were the factors limiting Watt's production more than anything he did wrong, and it's comical to talk about limited production when the guy had three sacks.

He imitated Watt’s sack dance when he finally notched a sack against Pickett in garbage time on last play of the game

Our receivers are rarely that open unless the opposing D is playing prevent. That begs the question if it’s the players or the game plan

While I didn't go into this game confident of a win, I certainly didn't expect this to be the result. I stopped watching after the first qtr., but it just felt like the same old pathetic play calling by Canada. He just doesn't appear to have any imagination when drawing up plays or formations. Now I know Pickett sure didn't look like a star out there from the little I saw, but I am not ready to throw in the towel just yet.

I guess that would be the age old question. When you watch KC, so many of their completions are to receivers with no one within 5 yards or more of them. I certainly won't claim to be an expert on drawing up plays, but it seems as though some are much better at it than ours.

Ok! I'm not just watching as a fan! I have experience in playing and coaching and see the game as a whole. Where some fans, in this case you, see 3 sacks on a stat sheet and say that he had a good game. I watched many of the snaps that TJ was in and his effort/tech./etc. He (and the DL) had poor effort from pad level to the ability swim/rip or bull their opponent. Also, the angles on pass rush contain were terrible! This is why SF kept attacking the edges with Toss and Stretch plays that got outside several times during the game. Please, do not forget the score either. It was a blowout. So those sacks really don't mean much in the grand scheme of things!

If his individual coach tells him (TJ), "you had a great game", then he's a ****ty coach, period! He's probably spending time with LBs and DL and I'm willing to bet, they grade that game as maybe average. And he will get plenty of feedback.

Not ripping anyone here over this but when you question me, I want to clarify why I say, what I do!

You claim to have some expertise. Good for you. So do I. I played. I reported the game for a long time. I know what I'm looking at when I watch football, too. I'm not just talking about three sacks, though those were certainly impressive. Only one of the sacks came after the game was out of reach, too, so perhaps you should try getting your facts right before you talk trash.
