This may sound like a joke. The turning point in the game was the second play. F..king second play and it’s a jet sweep that went nowhere. Sack after that and we never gained traction on offense. Say what you will, but Canada is still Canada

I still can't believe the offense could not score in the 4th QTR against the 49ers "B" team today.

We looked good in preseason scoring against "B" teams.

What game were you watching? It certainly wasn't this one. Watt had three sacks, forcing fumbles on two of them. He had at least one other tackle in the backfield. On a day that almost all of his teammates sucked, he still played great.

 

Whats he doing on PS? Give me his number I’ll call him up!

 

What's up with that????? I get their team is a legit SB contender but it's freaking week 1. I get that The Point is a cool place for a short vacation,( if it wasn't the Pirates yearly attendance numbers would be cut in half) but it's 3 time zones away. Maybe old hippies got stoned off their ass and took a long bus trip???

 

Seriously. About 3 hours after the game. It's all good.

A fan base that has a lot of disposable income and is willing to part with it because they are watching a potential SB team.

I don't understand how you watched that and thought Watt didn't play well. Turn in that performance in a win and he's AFC Defensive Player of the Week.

 

I’d take our defensive MVP over the Niners defensive MVP. I don’t recall seeing Watt getting pancaked as much as I saw Bosa on his back today

To be fair, Bosa sat out all of training camp and joined the team Wednesday.

 

Missed a lot of passes today and def made some bad decisions! Hopefully they look at film and get better! Browns or not that many other teams have the defense the 49ers possess

 

The defense gave up 30... point blank period. There's literally nothing more to say

 

I had plans to clear my Sundays to watch the Steelers this season since I knew last season they were not going anywhere but after today nothing I saw says I need to clear my schedule.

 

Joey Porter Jr will be fine.


As will the team. That said, what a horrific beginning to the season.
