Maybe. I don't know. Maybe someone else that's on the team that they are not putting out there. I don’t know , but I do know what I'm seeing is not going 2 hold up well against the starters We will be facing.

this trade could be every bit as good as the farrior trade. the two linebacker pickups they did were very good moves. we can compete with near anybody now. o-line is the only part i don't think is a done deal but i have liked what i have seen by many of those guys that were not the first choice by many. i think we are better then most think at this point. get the right combination on the field with the o-line and we jump up a bunch in the rankings. health will be the only concern. we have had more then our share of players go down, it's time our luck changes and other teams feel that burden.

We definitely have question marks, but if these guys play up to their potential they have a shot at being a pretty good unit.

I love this trade, but I doubt this guy is close to as good as Farrior.

Man....I hope You are correct, because what I'm seeing in preseason is a lot of poor coverage, and big mental breakdowns. Also poor tackling

That’s what preseason and practice is for, to work out the kinks. If we get a few games into the season and we’re still seeing continued mistakes and subpar play then I’ll get worked up.

What did we give up for Schobert? This could not have been cheap. And why did Jax trade him? It's not like their D is in 2017 form.

Damn. There's gotta be a catch. He must be positive for some kind of hybrid covid/herpes virus that we don't know about yet.

They wanted to dump his salary. Remember, they just had a coaching change, so moving on from free agent signings like that isn't so unusual, especially with a guy like Meyer taking over.

Sounds like Steelers made out good on this. What about cap space? His contract is not cheap. Steelers have done well with this trade and Haskins in off-season. Colbert deserves a gold medal.

If you watched that game when Myles Garrett hit Mason in the head with his helmet, Schobert was the best player on the field that night, he had 10 tackles 2 ints and a sack.

They can get rid of UG3, and Allen neither one of them is good enough.

Since cutting DeCastro, Colbert has signed Turner, Ingram and traded for Schobert :herewego!:

Trading for Henderson would require giving up a high draft pick most likely, the Steelers can't afford to give up anymore draft picks in 2022.

Some of the media on SNR said they expect Sutton to play the slot in nickel/dime packages, with Pierre playing the outside CB.

Yet a couple months ago the usual suspects were telling everyone how the Steelers only cared about money and fielding an average team.

That's all fine and great, but CB was neglected yet again.

Maybe they're not interested in bringing in another CB, it's not like anybody they bring in at this point is going to start .

Yes I've heard that as well, I hope Pierre plays well. The 1st 3 games will be interesting to say the least. I know Sutton's a smart guy and can move around like that no problem, I just worry about the communication aspect of it for the others.

I wonder if this trade started with the Steelers asking about CJ and JAX saying oh bye the way we have someone else you may be interested in.
