    Well no problem wasn't trying to beat ya down but you can't compare WR to TE. To me this is a no brainer we lose nothing bringing this guy in. If we went with your logic we would have never brought in DHB and while he hasn't been the greatest he has been ok at WR and even better on ST. You have no idea what this guy is capable of if he don't get the chance, another poster brought up a good point about Vance. Who has he had throwing him the ball the last 2 years??? We are not asking him to be the next Gronk, but his speed alone will open things up more for AB, Bell, Bryant, Coates, Rogers and jj.

    I think the Steelers bringing him in tells you what they think of Grimble, no? I hope this deal works out for us but if it don't I won't be mad at least the Steelers tried to improve. jmo

    Thanks. I now understand why we got him and kudos to management. Low risk, high potential return on investment. It seems his "meat hands" label may not be fair for a number of reasons.

    Grimble cant stretch the field, neither can James.

    IMO, Vance was clearly brought in to replace what they were expecting out of Green. Hes not quite as fast as Green, 4.69 as opposed to 4.53 but hes a seam TE none the less.

    When Green was on the field last year, he made big plays.

    Agree with Blast - I think Haley or Tomlin clearly feels they needed that Ladarius Green-type of TE, and they weren't getting that from JJ or Grimble for whatever reason.
