    Ryan Clark just tweeted...

"Hearing Steelers @ Broncos could be 1st Sunday night game of the season. If that happens, guess I'll wait for week 2."

I'd prefer it to be Broncos @ Patriots instead.

Peyton would hate to open the season up against our defense! I feel sorry for him with Harrison and Woodley coming after him!! not! :herewego: :herewego:

I never really like these types of games. I just think opening night for a stadium, in primetime, on the road spells bad news. I said the same when people wanted to Giants in the Thursday night game. There's a reason the road team has never won.

Just my opinion. I know we gotta play them sometime, but I'd rather have a cupcake week 1.

I like the idea of getting to Denver as early as possible. The longer Manning and the dnver offense have to gel the harder it will be to win that game. I'm sure Manning would rather face the Pats weak defense than the Steelers Defense in his first game with his new team. I can wait until week 2 for cupcakes.

I like this idea. I think we would go in there fired up remembering what happened last year. Or well that's what I would do if I played for the Steelers!

Which defense? The one that managed to hold Tom Brady in check, or the one that allowed Tim Tebow to throw for 300+ on them?

    Your missing the point.

Clark out again, new CB for Gay and a QB that can accurately throw the rock on all routes.

Forgot one thing, an Offense no one has seen yet.

Yeah manning is a timing qb and is used to wrs knowing what he is thinking. He isnt going to get that right away in denver. I like it plus hopefully we will be healthy since its the start of the season. Im really excited about this team next year. I think haley will have the offense firing on all cylinders. The defense will be the defense. If wood and harrison are healthy and on the field at the same time they are an unstoppable force. The depth at corner is kind of scary but at least ike is always ready to go.

Now wouldn't it be ironic if we lost to Denver with Tim Tebow at QB and Win with Peyton Manning at QB?

On one hand, it might be better to play before Manning gets rhythm. On the other, maybe wait till his neck gets hurt again.

They're moving from an offense that has been set up to defend a mobile QB running option routes, to defending a QB who hasn't left the pocket in eight years. I'll be quite happy to play them early.

Just keep Mundy on our own goal-line all game, so he doesn't get out-paced again.

Yes, lets get rid of Lebeau. I mean his Defensive ranking the past ump-teen yrs has been terrrible. (eye roll).

His success is really only against the weaker teams, despite how Carnell Lake helped him improve. Plus Butler can clearly do a better job, as his YPC were much better last season.
