Steelers to let Sanders leave

    I wish they would've taken the 3rd rd pick for him last year! By default alone we would've seen more of Moye and Wheaton, and there's no guarantee Wheaton would've been hurt (because I know that's coming) due to the whole altering of events. We probably would've wound up the same either way, as I believe Sanders really isn't a make or break individual for this team.

    I think in hindsight not taking the pick was probably a mistake, but who knows. We probably still get a compensation pick for him next year, but I bet it is a 5th.

    What a waste of talent he was by having him ride the pine on kick offs in lieu of Felix Jones. I just don't understand that lousy decision making especially if there was no intent on extending his career in Pittsburgh anyways. Did they actually think that Jones was a more viable option with better return ability. Just dumb IMO.
