Steelers spoke with Chicago to move up

I admit to being wrong about this. In my defense, I never imagined the price for moving up to get Jones would be so cheap. For once, the machinations of Bill Bellichick worked in the Steelers’ favor.

 

I have thoroughly enjoyed the board since Thursday. Part of that is the Steelers having a great draft. Part is a certain troll being absent.

Or is he? I don't think he's signed with another team yet and the Steelers traditionally bring 4 QBs to camp. I imagine he'd want to sign anywhere but Pgh, but if noone else wants him I can see him signing and competing with Tanner Morgan for the number 3 spot. This wouldn't be a bad thing. Mason might not be starter quality but he's likely better than an UDFA for QB3.
