Probably covered in another thread, but... where will we be left after the rookies signings in terms of picking up any other vet Free Agents?

After Woodley's dough comes off the books and after displacement, they'll be in good shape. I don't have an exact estimate in front of me, but it will be in the $6 Mil neighborhood.

    Cheers.

I wonder if this will mean they pick up some of those FAs still hanging around...

there could still be some adjustments if guys like carter and Paulson and possibly Abdullah the butcher are cut loose. all gaines up into the top 51 by lower paid guys. those 3 alone are a nice chunk of change to add to the pool.

Cool enough room for two well known cheerleaders...The Beard & Silverback

( With the draft outcome I'm sure the door will remain shut on the duo )

I wouldn't expect those two back unless they have some injuries in training camp.

I'd like to see the Silverback return for just one game..... the home opener against the Cleveland Johnny Footballs.... just to see a crushing hit to draw another 100k fine and immediate retirement.

Archer's verticle jump is almost 5 inches higher then AB's meaning he can get to balls that Brown can't.

I still think there is a chance Harrison comes back. I just can't see us going into camp with Chris Carter and Zumwalt as the only OLB depth.

Jones is going to take some time to develop, but if he doesn't get stolen off our PS I see a change that he is a legitimate starter down the road.

Howard Jones looks like a cut above most of the UDFAs from early reports. Interesting to see what he can do.

We'll see. I thought the same thing about Alan Baxter last season and he ended up being cut.

I was going to add - "I've got my hopes up before with players like Alan Baxter", but couldn't remember his name until you just reminded me.

Its definitely a crapshoot. I don't think he makes the 53, so there is a chance he could get claimed from someone. I am hoping we can stash him on our PS for the year. He's raw as can be. Still, for someone 6'2 to have 34"+ arms with his physical abilities is fairly rare. Much was made about Kelvin Beachum being 6'2 and having 33" arms.

I fully expect Jones to be noticeable in the pre-season.
