Steelers sign Brad Wing to PS

I honestly do not know, ai think the action in their kicking is closer to punting than a soccer kick, but there are also different styles and regulations in in rugby, so really do not know how that impacts the kicking element.

 

Let's say the guy is booming them in practice, would the Steelers start him??

 

Lil too late ta make a change. Think they’ve brought Wing in kind of asa psychological move/message to Harvin for the playoffs. Seems to do his best when he thinks his job’s on the line. I like the move albeit it should never have come to this.

Wait man, was hoping we kept that punter that competed for the job in preseason over Harvin.

 

Waitman was on the Patriots practice squad this year and when the season was over on Sunday he was signed by the Bears.

Back to the Buffet Harvin needs to go but he's Tomlins boy. 40 mile an hour winds could be the undoing. The kicking game is going to be brutal and Shanksville will struggle. Hopefully they bring Wing up from the practice squad and into the fold for this game. Plus long field goals with that type wind will not be a positive.

 

It doesn't make any sense to me signing Wing at this point of the season unless they plan on starting him on Sunday. They're not going to dress 2 punters. If Harvin has a bad day against the Bills, Wing probably won't get a chance in the 2nd round anyway because they'll be out. If they consistently give the Bills good field position, Allen will eat them alive
