Steelers Sign a Kicker...Place Boz on IR

This makes sense in a way. Kind of like Cowhers last year.

 

Boz was money last week. I don’t get it. Did he get physically injured during practice?

 

Forbath's numbers last year were similar to Boz's... not sure he was an upgrade, either.

Regarding the theory about Tomlin, I wouldn't be shocked if he decided to resign, but making decisions to actively sabotage his own team? Come on, folks. That makes no sense.

So Boz finally has a good game this season and gets put on IR? That's not going to help his confidence. He's going to start to think he's cursed.

 

Tomlin plans to go on all his 4th down attempts and extra pts from here on.

Boswell was placed on injured reserve Friday with an undisclosed injury.

Boswell was nearly replaced following Week 15 after missing his seventh field-goal attempt of the season, but he responded by not missing a kick last week against the Saints. The 27-year-old was never listed on the injury report, so what he's actually dealing with is currently unclear. Pittsburgh signed Matt McCrane to handle kicking duties as the team heads into the final game of the regular season.

I heard on SNR they said he met with the trainer before the Saints game and received treatment this week. So, perhaps the Steelers get in Trouble for not listing him on the injured report. Though as a kicker, can you really be limited? lol
