    Worked Well for Him.
Well the people that don't like MT maybe get their wish quicker than they think if they do all this ,and it fails . Nothing like having a sucky Qb, and no draft picks in the future.

Interestingly enough to me, the guys over at Walterfootball have Willis slipping now to the steelers. I think they only have Pickett getting drafted before (both to carolina). Walter football is not exactly the best, but it's two guys opinion. They both had Picket (carolina) & Willis (steelers) in the 1st and Corral & Howell in the 2nd round to various others

Its going to be interesting on draft day. Once one QB goes, there could be a run on them... who knows. Lots of good players at the top of the draft, so its easy to see some of them fall too.

I want to be wrong, but I'm 100% certain we are walking away with a QB this year. I have a feeling its either trade up for Willis or stay put for Ridder. I'd much prefer the stay at 20 route (I also prefer Ridder to Willis).... I am totally cool with going QB, I just would hate to mortgage the future in order to do so. For as much as I dislike Willis as a prospect, I'd even be okay enough with them taking him at 20. Just please for the love of God do not trade future firsts.

What's scary is I heard some say they still have Sam Darnold rated above all the Qbs coming out this year.

I mean that's a bit ridiculous. There's at least a shot that one of these guys turns out. We know that Darnold isn't good and that's not likely to change. Who on earth has that opinion and where did you hear it?

I remember when Darnold was coming out, all the experts said he was a cant miss type of player, some had him as the best QB of that class, so i dont put a whole lot into what the experts say

The criticism of this class overall is a little ridiculous.

It's not like We haven't seen this before, but like always....some teams will Draft them anyways.....Difference was We(or I ) use 2 laugh at those teams....Now We maybe one of those teams, and that's not a laughing matter.

People should all remember I said He and Baker weren't worth a 1st. Hell I didn't think anyone of the Qb that year should have been, but even after I joined here , and brought it up....I was laughed at. Many times. Some even accused Me of thinking no Qbs are good. LoL.
Yet the only one in that class that I maybe wrong about is Allen, and I still want 2 see after His contract starts affecting the team. Most NFL Qbs should be pretty good with a rookie contract, and the team being able 2 bring in players left, and right.
There is a reason why only 3 Qbs in 40 years have won a SB with the team that drafted them after 7 years.

Maybe. Idk. I'd be shocked if at least one of them doesn't turn out better than Sam Darnold... although what do I know? lol

I'm not saying I agree. I'm just saying that's what they both said. Well actually Jeremiah said it, and Bucky agreed.
I was just saying it's what I heard. I never thought S. Darnold was good. You don't very often turn the ball over at a high rate in College....then ....all of a sudden get better at it in the NFL.

Some think MW can/ will, also some think after playing football most his life he suddenly will learn to read defenses in the NFL:shrug:

I know. Thats what bothers Me the most. Out of all the Qbs(the main ones talked about) coming out....I believe He(Malik Willis) sees the field the worse....if You can't see the field....You can't read a D.

Yes, exactly and like how I am on record about Willis.

You talk about how bad this class is, surely there won’t even be one QB that hits. That should be an easy prediction for you to make and stand behind but if you are too gutless, I understand.

I mean, nearly all of college QB's don't know how to read defenses at an NFL level. Most of them learn that in the NFL (at least master it there). It happened for Josh Allen, SF is hoping it works for Trey Lance, Tom Brady was a mediocre Big Ten QB and then became the best QB ever. Its just very rare to have happen. That's why there are so many super talented QB's that have busted out of the league.

My biggest detraction of Willis is just how unnatural it looks out there. His throwing motion is bad. His footwork, bad. His pocket presence, non-existent. Accuracy, weak. Ball security, weak. But he is quick, shifty, and has an absolute cannon of an arm. You can be a good enough QB to overcome sub-par athleticism and arm strength and be solid in the league. You can't be a good enough athlete to be a sub-par QB and be successful in the league. Willis isn't the same caliber of athlete that Lamar Jackson is rushing the ball. IF he is going to be successful, its going to be because he turns into a top-flight passer. I don't see it happening. Too many obstacles to overcome.

I agree that he looks completely unnatural in the flow of the designed offense. He looks like he’s ONLY comfortable running around and taking what his eyes see as being open, either passing or running. There’s no question about his physical ability. He has the physical tools and off-script film of a top 5 pick, but the on-script film of an undraftable QB.

Anyone that knows Me would call Me a lot of things, but that would be very low on the list.
I guess You still haven't listened 2 a word I have said. I didn't one time say none would work, or that any were not worth drafting. Not once. I said none are worth drafting in the 1st round. Like Dak P......He has worked out for the Cryboys , but was not worth a 1st round, and wasn't drafted in the 1st rightly so. He is not a top 10 Qb. Like Lamar, Baker, and S. Darnold....they can play in the NFL, but none are Top 10 Qbs, and therefore should not Be 1st round Qbs. Especially 1st round Qbs that a team moves up, and hurts future drafts 2 get. It really that simple.

Exactly why T. Brady wasn't picked in the 1st round. Some People have this belief that if You don't think a player is a 1st round pick that You think they can't be good. ....No .....it means they are not worth a 1st right now. Of course they can be good.....Hell Look at how many UDFA make it in the league, but not many are hits that year. A 1st round normally should be for a Guy that can Hit the field running.....not 3 years from now. That's what late 2nd round, and so forth are for.....IMO.

not to sound bad but i think the sad news of haskins just cemented us keeping mason and a qb being drafted for sure now. i almost expect us to pick up an UDFA as well after the draft.

The Steelers will need 4 QB's going into camp and unfortunately now they only have two. I can see us taking someone like Matt Corral early and someone like Cole Kelley late in the draft.
