When people talk about how pro athletes are overpaid they are somewhat right. However, in the case of AB, he deserves to be the highest paid guy because he is by far the best receiver and maybe even the best all around PLAYER in the game. A true difference maker and always a threat with the ball in his hands.

So you still want to make that bet when you said AB will get a new contract this year :hehehe:, like I said earlier they were just going to restructure like they did in 2015.

Yeah, they aren't going to tag him unless all else fails. I don't think AB is looking to be the highest paid by leaps and bounds, they'll work out a fair contract. He's definitely earned it.

I have been watching/ a fan of my hometown team PGH Steelers for over 45 years, I can't recall the team
EVER doing what they have done for any player other than AB these past two years. He must be the exception to the rule. I commend
the Steelers for these actions. Good job Steelers. You are witnessing a once in a life time player playing for the PGH STEELERS,
by FAR the most exciting Steeler since the dynasty years. AB negotiations next year will be a tough one, he will want to be paid at the highest threshold. It should be real interesting how things play out. I am doubting there will be a hometown discount.

Yeah. I can't see us offering him less than highest paid WR money. He will accept it. I don't think he's gonna try for 18-20 mil. Somewhere in the 16 range will work

Dude give it up, the Steelers don't redo contracts once the season starts. AB got all he's going to get this season.
