Steelers Restructure Marcus Gilbert's Contract

    that's hard to say if it was a difference since foster got hurt last year, gilbert got hurt again and so did beachum but he didn't miss any time from it luckily. it's not like we didn't have any since he got here. injuries happen when 300 lb. men are battling in the same space no matter who is coaching. not that I don't think munch is a great addition, but not sure he makes that type of difference to the injury front.:cool:

    Minor injuries though, minor time missed, line was able to keep a cohesiveness to it that it hasn't been able to for years. Too much of a coincidence for me after some of us believed poor coaching to be a factor. I'm not suggesting a line coach can keep them completely injury free but without a doubt I believe poor technique can contribute to injuries.

    The injuries to Pouncy and Decastro were more flukes than coaching. Although, maybe coaching would have kept Decastro from creaming Pouncy?

    Injury's can happen on any snap. Coaching can't prevent that. Let's hope the walking wounded can stay on the field this season.
