Found a video of him from the FXFL this season.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4CR7uaxjptA

Looks like he doesn't give up on any plays. And seems to get positive yardage in the punting game. Maybe not a game breaker, but a guy who might be able to give you 10 yards on a return.

Odd man out: Ike Taylor?
Another 'healthy scratch' to IR (like Cortez Allen)?

I really don't understand why this is such a problem for some steeler fans. Woodson, lipps,Holmes etc all used to turns kicks and now it's a problem.

AB returning punts is not a problem with me. Give him just an inch of space and he can take it to the house.

If it's injuries people are worried about he could just as easily trip over the stripes on his suit and tear an ACL.

He could but I doubt that will happen. He is by far the best WR we have. There has to be someone else that can stand back their and call a fair catch which is almost always what he does. He hasn't been an elite return guy since he became our elite WR.

Fogg has been signed to the practice squad. The team hasn't confirmed this yet.

If all there after is a fair catch then I agree but I'm not sure I have the same confidence in Bryant sure handidly. Circumstances do call for that in game situations from time to time.
AB is the most sure handed person to handle the punt return duties. Risk to injury is part of that equation but is probably still outwieghed by the possible reward.

I liked Jordan's upside but I guess with Ventrone advancing to the 53 and even being active I guess he became expendable.

Fogg looks slow to me. Kind of a weak tackler as well. Could be wrong, let's hope he can contribute in the future.

I wonder at this point if he's still Pissed about his pay cut, or just grateful to be employed now

If he can make it around the football field in less than 80 days do we win something?

It has been a rollercoaster year for him. Probably has gone from getting really mad, disappointed and sad, to keep wondering about the possibility of this one being his last big-paycheck in his life.
Probably saw himself in the mirror when all the C Allen benching was developing, and remembered his position many years ago, when Coach Cowher determined to bench him because of poor play. And also was lucky to return after an awful injury. Now, he can look at Keisel and think about that scenario for himself (if his injury had potentially ended his career).
Now, after getting exposed in consecutive weeks, his head must have a lot of stuff right now.

He's a good and smart guy, and has feelings for the game. Hard not to like him. But, for sure, his best days are long gone.

FOGG!

This has brightened my day considerably.

Of course, if Kevin Fogg is not, in fact, a lion in a top hat and suit, I will be seriously disappointed.

You know, when I saw the name it was clear to me that the name would leave a lot of room for some real good shots at everyone. Fogg, right!. But then I switched gears and decided to turn the name into a positive. For example. This is exactly what the secondary needs. I can see it now.

The opposing QB fades back on a critical 3rd down play---has all day---a wr is out alone wide open--- he launches the ball --- and out of nowhere this blinding mist comes up--- no one can see anything except Steelers of course---well you get the idea---:smiley1:

Sorry about this, but it's the best I can do for now. WTHeck! For the past several weeks I have been giving tips on how to correct the D's problems [free too]:smiley1: and actually in a way things are improving a bit. But, now it looks like the Sci-Fi approach is the only out.
