OK so much for emotion and opinion. Let's try reality. Relative to Red Zone efficiency the Steelers have earn the rank of #30 out of 32 teams with an efficiency of 41%. The trend line in pointing down since in the last three games their Red Zone efficiency is 27%. Oh! Oh! But they will play 5 of their last 8 games at home where to-date their Red Zone efficiency is a startling 23%. Shall we wait for Ben to lead the Steelers to he bottom ranking - #32? No! Bring on Dobbs. Hell, even Landry can beat Ben's Red Zone efficiency. If anything it might jar his pride and bring out the competitor in him to improve.

I wish we would use Watson when we are on the 1 or 2 yard line which is where Bell`s hesitation technique does not work, if we are going to punch it in.

If passing inside the 10, I wish we would call more misdirection type plays that gets a receiver open for a quick throw. I see other teams do it and they get a guy wide open. Yet we seem to call plays that require a pinpoint pass in traffic.

I say why not put in DHB and run the option?

Well, if you are going down in flames, you may as well do it with 9 consecutive posts to eliminate all doubt.

I’m thinking these posts came from far more than 2 standard deviations on the left side of the bell curve.

LOL. The play calling is more at fault than is Ben's play down there. I mean, dumb-as-bag-of-rocks kind of play calling.

Any reason as to why you're running around looking for specific attention? Don't be mad at us because your parents wouldn't buy you a Mr. Microphone for Christmas... And after this little display can't say I blame them.

Does anyone know how many total trips the Steelers have had to the red zone this year?

It’s hard to deal with some of the people round here. Either way to negative or they get some ideas that make me say “What?!”. We’re 6-2, a lot better than what I thought we would be coming into this season. No one knows what kind of team we’re going to get after the bye. Hopefully some issues are corrected and we get some great offense. But I do know one thing, there not going to put a 3rd string quarterback in the red zone (where there’s even more pressure than in between the 20s) and ask him to score touchdowns in games that matter.

All these Ben lovers. Great when he was younger, now at 35 time to hang it up like Manning did.

So We’re not suppose to love a guy that’s taken the Steelers to 3 Super Bowls, won 2, had them in playoff contention pretty much every year of his career? Ben has been better than Peyton in his last year so far.

    THEYRE 6-2!!!! Crying out loud!!!

Ben lovers? How bout Steeler lovers! Ben's got his ass kicked in here plenty over the years and quite a bit here recently and deservedly so at times.
Is what it is... He's not what he used to be, but he is not a dead armed manning by any stretch of the imagination. Ben can still heave it... Manning ran out of gas 5 yds into a 15 yard heave and damn near crapped himself doing it.

his accuracy has been debated for years. His legs aren't what they were duh!!!
But the team is frigging 6-2!!! That record does not improve with dobbs period. And stop with the Watson/Prescott talk. Watson was the better option than what Houston had which is not a Super Bowl winning QB that supposedly fell off, meaning that Watson taking over wasn't exactly mind blowing. Prescott would've never seen the field if romo hadn't gotten messed up.

Dobbs clearly is not ready... And LJ clearly ain't gonna take the reigns. If you think dobbs would've mattered in the 2 losses... Well I'm sorry but he wouldn't. This team lays eggs every year. We all debate it but this year it's just getting ridiculous. Let's put dobbs in a wildcat, dobbs can run, more options open up etc... Dobbs wasn't a world beater in college and he is not yet in the NFL. Watson and Prescott in their pre season outings blew the doors off of anything dobbs did. He'll probably get a chance eventually but to yank Ben for him is lunacy at this point.

I'm critical of Ben, but no, this is a terrible idea
