Steelers Record after the Bye

    Dicided to check out their record. I stand corrected, they have done very well after the bye. Since 2004 they are 6-2 after the bye

    2011 - w KC
    2010 - w CLE
    2009 - w Den
    2008 - w CIN
    2007 - L Den
    2006 - L San Diego
    2005 - W San Diego
    2004 - W New England

    It's a very important game, as a 1-3 start would not bode well...............other than perhaps a higher than usual draft pick.

    Way, way too early to think about draft picks.

    For me, I'm treating those first three games as a slioghtly more intense pre-season. Season proper starts now!

    I really hate to say this, this early in the season but this
    maybe a must win game for the Steelers. We can't afford to get down much more
    in the playoff race. lets see NE, Houston, SD? Cincy, Balt? Denver, Steelers?
    Thank goodness the AFC is down this year?

    I was sorta, almost, kinda kidding. But, as Ward stated, and IMO, this game 4 is one we need in the W column...........here we go Steelers!
