But, but the regular season doesn't matter , or does it only matter when it suits certain people's purposes??? In the playoffs he is barely average.
You ,the regular season doesn't count people can't have it both ways.

Uhmm . Burrow threw for more yards, and tied for the most overall tds last year, and they only won 9 games. It's not their offense that should worry them.
Also this is why I laugh at people when they say MVP is a individual award, and not a team award. Then those people that believe that....explain how Burrow didn't win MVP last year.
Because his team didn't win enough. Case closed. It's a team award.

It's an expression you quoted of a very well known cheater. I asked if you meant cheating. You merely repeated the quote. I replied I will never get behind cheating. Not even to 'Just Win Baby'.

You can twist it how you want. If you want to cheat, I disagree with that. Do you understand that?

    ..... ?!

I did say that is an area where the Bengals have the Steelers beat. That still doesn't disprove Cincys Offensive Line woes. Pittsburgh's is more Wild Card than certainty but there are pieces that can make it work; namely on the interior.

Stats and records matter for the MVP....If your record is not good enough,it will not be enough to win the mvp but if your stats are not among the best, you have no chance too.It take both or Mahomes would win the mvp last season

The steelers are not elite in the regular season too...Only a .500 team since the 11-0 start in 2020.The ravens also beat us last january

He also said, if you're not cheating you're not trying.
Not to the extent of the Patriots, but Davis was infamous for bending rules and doing things to get an advantage around the rules, stuff like that. Other than that I respect what he did for football.

If it was an individual award....Burrow would have won last year, and Josh Allen would have won the year before.
In 2023 Allen had the most overall tds, and most overall yards.
In 2024 Burrow tied for the most overall tds, and had the most overall yards. Yet neither won the MVP those years....it is not a individual award, it is a team award, because no matter what you do, your team must be good enough, or you won't win the MVP.

Why Mahomes did not win last season despite a 15-1 season by him as starter?

I watched A Davis my whole life, and I never took that stuff seriously. I always thought that was just him playing up a character. Of course I never liked him, and the Raiders so I thought he was a quack. Was he ever caught cheating??

He was the owner so probably not.

But that wasn't the conversation. Post quoted the just win baby, and I asked if he meant cheating. He just repeated the quote. I took that as yes. I won't get behind cheating. That's all it was. Nothing more.

Because it's a popularity contest. That's all it is. 2023 shows that the most of any year I can think of.
It's the 1st time a Qb won that had 5 Qbs with as many , or more overall tds, and 5 , or more Qb with as many, or more overall yards. It's a popularity contest. To prove my point....they knew they should have voted for Allen in 2023, so to make up for their mistakes they voted for him , incorrectly last year. If you are having to make up for not choosing the correct guy , you are not picking who is the most worthy, but the most popular.
