They are still NFL teams....who all draft, and who all spend cap money just like all the other NFL teams. This is not college where it's completely uneven like example: Georgia vs UAPB.

If the steelers don't make the playoffs,it will be a collapse for the ages!

Broncos are the 7th seed at 5-5 and every team behind them are at 4-6 or worst!

Yea they are in at this point. I expect them to clinch at least a wildcard spot by early December in a few weeks if they can get to 10 wins. But like you said the Broncos are 5-5 and the Colts and Bengals are 4-6 it would take as you said a complete and total collapse for anyone of those 3 teams to catch the Steelers at this point. With all that being said, I think the Steelers need to win this game with the Ravens Sunday to win the division. A win puts the Ravens at 4 losses and I think the Steelers could win the division by winning 12 games and going 4-3 in their last 7 games. They could do that by sweeping the Browns, splitting with the Bengals and winning 1 of the 3 games at Philly, at Baltimore, and at home to KC on Christmas. Very doable if you ask me but you gotta win this game at home Sunday with the Ravens to make that possible.

How odd would it be if Broncos meet the Steelers in the Playoffs? Broncos be paying the guy that is trying to whip their ass.

I'm going to venture that a win increases our chances each week

but as of now no team is eliminated yet.

According to NFL.com, the Raiders would be the first team eliminated if they lose this week, but they have, as of today, a .47% chance of making the playoffs. The Giants have the worst odds, with a .01% chance of making the playoffs, but they and the Panthers are both off this weekend.

It was very bad, they finish the final 8 games at 3-5 and losing 5 games in a row after a 6-2 start

But they would need to have a 2-6 finish to have a chance to miss the playoffs this year,it would be more ugly if it happen!

NFL.com currently has the Steelers with a 94% chance of making the playoffs, going up to 98% if they win this weekend (92% if they lose). Lower than the Ravens. But if we win, and Buffalo wins, we control our destiny for home field advantage. We win out, and the Chiefs win all but our game, and the Bills win out, Chiefs get eliminated because of losses to both us and Buffalo, and we'll have a better divisional record than the Bills. You could have 3 15-2 teams, with the Chiefs being the #3 seed.

    I'll take 15-2 please.
Can't believe Tomlin shat the bed back to back especially at home in primetime

If the playoffs would start today, the first matchup for the steelers would be the ravens...I prefer to face Denver or other 7th seed,so I would love to have the second seed at least but I also prefer to face the ravens that the chargers....The chargers are better and better in the last few week....Great defense with a great QB who play very well in the last few week, since he is more healthy

Wow the NFC is a cakewalk for the Eagles to meet up with Lions.

    AFC rules again.

I think you mean the Steelers have a better conference record than the Bills. Divisional record isn't a tiebreaker versus a non-divisional team.

Anything is possible I guess but if they win the next 3 games at Cleveland, at Cincy, and home to the Browns they should clinch a playoff spot 2nd week of December with 11 wins. I’m focusing on 1-2 seed now not missing the playoffs so I think the playoffs are almost a lock at this point.

The Ravens play the Chargers next then the Eagles, they could definitely lose one of their next two games.
