Steelers playoff chances through 7 weeks…

IDK if its tied to the 17 game format, with that you play the extra game and how that may affect the balance??? I guess the only bright moment in playing those 3 games in a 10 day stretch is the travel it light, At philly, then Balt, is at ,least not a cross county flight, lol.

worded wrongly, not settling for as in expecting, but basically seeing the same results year after year. Hard for me to get excited about someone posting we could go .500 or less and still make the play offs. I know you have to get there even have a chance, but the last few years have been ether sliding into the by hoping another team helping us, or ending the season with what they have labeled MT as the longest non-losing season, blah blah. yes I want the PO's, but for me I also want a competitive team, if they lose against better teams, at least show heart and determination in the loss. Some of the beat downs we have had seemed like the loss was inevitable within the first quarter.

 

Tomlin doesn't have the record for longest non-losing seasons, he's third behind Landry and Belichick.

Colts Dolphins and Bengals all losing really helped the Steelers playoff chances in terms of getting a wildcard spot. The Bengals and Dolphins now have 5 losses and the Colts have 4 but own the tiebreaker over the Steelers head to head so any loss the Colts have is good. But of course the Steelers should be thinking bigger today with the Browns beating the Ravens. Sets up a great opportunity with a win tomorrow night against the Giants to be in 1st place all alone.
