Actually think DJ was nursing something all year. He just didn't have that little burst out of the catch and obviously was trying to create too much by going backwards. Just felt like he was trying to compensate for something missing.

He played college ball in Atlanta. He wanted to impress his fans there. I get it.

Especially in today's time. If that stuff just happened here I could see people saying something, but it's league wide, and worse on other teams.

Many years ago I was president of a fraternity with 80 plus members

Some how the dean of student affairs thought I was capable of keeping things in control

One day 6 members ran out our front door in the middle of a blizzard streaking

They ran around the only car out there at a red light

It was the president of the university and his apparently bitchy wife

When both are on the field, Neal is probably better, but he has struggled with injuries and Edmunds' best trait is his durability.

I do too. For even a few more reasons. But it reeked of some very possible foreshadowing and possibilities to come. I hope I’m completely wrong. But wr’s seem to fall into this diva stuff more than most positions.

Third in line here. It’s been pretty quiet across all front about this signing. As if it was a signing that fixed things. I see it as a wash at best or a significant drop that will be a thorn in our side all year.

Didn’t want to be too much of a downer when this all happened. Was hoping he was going to be a depth signing.

I think the plan is to use Neal as depth and in three-safety looks with Kazee as the starter along side Fitzpatrick.

If Kazee had a different (bigger) body type I’d be inclined to completely agree. I know he’s viewed as a very willing sting tackler when needed, but I just don’t think he has the body type to sustainably do it at the SS position. I think Kazee is a great depth and tool to use for unique sets at the FS position and only use him closer in towards the box in limited sporadic situations.

Edmunds just never amounted to the guy they thought he would become; just like Neil seems to be. Nobody should have expected Troy like abilities, but they are still looking for the replacement.

Again, I expect the same or a thorny regression with the better TE’s and slot guys earning their money on us over the shallow middle in early downs with spread offenses. We should be better at deep cover and in the box defense levels.

Yeah, but here’s to hoping we just have some great stars who are good hardworking teammates and strong character. Then we can spend valuable draft capital in other areas where our guys might be deficient in any or all.

Gotta get back to those 2005 - 2008 squads. Such an effective mix of all things talent and effort.

Thought Mason Rudolph would run away with this award, but then again no one else likes Mason Rudolph.

Not that I dislike him, but sometimes Johnson strikes me as a whiner. I get it, though. Not getting the ball affects his bottom line. He does work his ass off and I think he wants to win as much as anyone. Sometimes he seems to try to do too much as evidenced by his annoying habit of taking steps backward when he has the ball. I don't know where it comes from with WR'ers and the me, me, me attitude. Probably one-upmanship. Wish they could all conduct themselves like Larry Fitz and Megatron, but then what would we have to talk about?

I believe it's because of the relying position of Wrs. It matters not at all how good You are if the Qb doesn't look Your way, throw You the ball, and , or throw a somewhat catchable ball. So they become the squeaky wheel by default. JMO

His 2006 Vikings were tied for 15th in passing yards allowed per pass attempt, 15th in completion % allowed, and gave up 15 TDS while making 21 interceptions. However they did have the most passes attempted against them in the NFL because their run defense was impenetrable, and allowed only allowed 2.8 yards per carry and 61 yards per game.

Sometimes a single stat like giving up the most total yards passing doesn’t tell the full story. Their pass defense was actually middle of the road.

I don't hate any current Steelers. The only one was Mike Vick, because I'm an animal lover.

That being said, Zach Gentry is super annoying on those grilling podcasts he does with Pat F. But I don't hate him.
