What kills me is the rare event happened to the team I hate the most. Carson Wentz (who was such a hero for a short time) went down and us haters were so happy. Along comes Nick Foles and he gets it done. As far as back up QB's, Nick Foles was one of the best. I'm not sure but maybe Trent Dilford?? That Baltimore team didn't need a QB anyhow. And the last team to beat them that SB season, STEELERS!

Huge hero. And when Wentz went down they gave up. I golf with two season ticket holders and they just about cried. At the first Playoff game it was so subdued and then got funny when they realized they might have a shot.

Little Carson Wentz story. He was said to be purchasing a beach home about 4 miles from me. When we would ride by there were always people snapping pictures and taking selfies. This was when it was only halfway through construction. When finally finished Carson Wentz was no where to be found.

Big difference between Foles in 2017 and Dilfer in 2000

First, Dilfer never had a good season like Foles in 2013 and the Ravens in 2000 won because of their legendary defense which gave less than 10 PPG in 20 games including the playoffs. Brad Johnson was a little better in 2002, but the defense was also why the Bucs won

Foles deserves a lot of credit in 2017, especially for the super bowl game, since the Eagles needed a monster game from Foles, since Brady had over 500 yards and he did that!...A lot of average or below QB would have not been close to do that, just ask the 49ers with Jimmy G in 2019 and 2021....terrible in big moment

FITZ is NOT Polamalu. DON'T try to make him one, KEEP him in deep center field, he is a beast back there

There are a few, very few, non starting worth QBs that have won the super bowl

What gets me that it took Austin all last season for him to notice this. Agree keep him in deep center field.

i think the injuries to ILB took their toll and Austin wanted to use him for more action.

he is an amazing athlete, but he broke down, overuse last year

as was much of the defense due to a SUCK OFFENSE and time of possession imbalance as the season wore on

    thank you Tomlin......

It was IMO the injuries that forced the coaching staff to keep having to use him that way.

Tried to catch the OTAs as much as I could, just like every year. For me, I like what I’m seeing. They just appear a bit more edgy, aggressive than usual. I attribute it to youth and competition at every spot. If there’s one thing that I have noted to describe the Khan era thus far, COMPETITION!

Of course the intensity goes Way Up come Latrobe.

    Go Steelers!
