Minkah’s health will help a ton. From what I’ve read cam and minkah were very close.

Honestly now I would just like adding a #2 WR. And who knows, we might honestly have one step up. But everything else looks pretty good.

If Sutton performs good this season. I think we will see him staying a Steeler for life. I really don't see us letting him go, nor him wanting to go.

I think it is mainly the clothes he is wearing.

Cam is 6'5, Benton is 6' 4". Benton listed as 10 lbs heavier. Benton looks to have more junk in the trunk.

Don't believe those listed weights for old players like Cam, they usually don't update them from their rookie years.

Yeah, Cam's listed weight of being under 300 lbs has been a joke for years. I don't think he has been under 300 since college. He has always looked like a full grown man compared to some of the other players.

Now, Cam's statements about him and the Steelers being very far apart on his contract talks, along with his idea of an actual holdout/holdin and not wanting to play out his current contract surprised me yesterday. I figured worst case scenario the Steelers would just let Cam play out his contract this year, because they currently have the money under the cap to do it. Never dreamed it would be Cam pushing for a new contract with his current $22 million cap hit, and $16 million salary for 2024.

Never a citizen but visited Moscow. Hell of a city but I sure like the American women over the Russian ladies. Always thought they were going to kick my ass.

I kind of agree. I'm excited but still not comfortable at the QB position. Wilson will be better then what we had but he goes down IMO season is over.

as has been stated AD NAUSEUM, what team's season is not over if their starter goes down?

you saw how Cincy's season ended last year

and Balt, the prior 2 years.

and CLE last year, for that matter - Flacco was still Flacco.....

it is what it is, in today's NFL....

Didn't the Eagles win it all with a Backup QB. Is that guy even still in the NFL now?

"what teams season is not over if their starter goes down?" While I tend to agree I can name a few teams that won a Superbowl after they lost their starter.

I would guess that those teams had very good defenses and a power running game to control the TOP. Cleveland had those things last year, and made the playoffs w/o their starting QB. The Bengals didn't, and didn't. The Steelers did, and didn't even have a starting quality QB on the roster.

true - rare, VERY RARE and odd

it sinks all sorts of teams, including the 9rs 2 seasons ago

VERY RARE to go anywhere deep w a back up

we all agree for the most part on that.

The various reports on YT have stated a couple of guys (vets) look promising, but w/o pads how can you really know. Really not much out there, so unless Omar pulls a trade or a team makes an unexpected release, we have what we have. I'm wondering how much Smith keeps pertaining to his traditional O, and how much he adapts. Muth is not a traditional TE in the system he has used, but if healthy could possibly to a top 10 guy. It will be interesting to see how this develops.

Nic Foles is listed as a FA, did not play for anyone last year so that's that. I just looked at his career, interesting in that he had 82 TD to 49 int. I think most guys would come out pretty happy with an 11 year career, SB MVP and likely enough money (if he wasn't stupid) to at least get you by until you claim your NFL retirement checks, lol
