Steelers OT Dan Moore Jr. Rated as League's Worst Pass Blocker

I am hoping the mix-up this week will be to put Jones at LT and Chuks back at RT.

Might as well get Jones started on his long career as the Starting LT for the Steelers.

 

But that's ok he is still maturing

 

What happens if Jones is a better RT?

He certainly has looked better on the right so far. Granted he is only a rookie.

 

No wonder players say they love playing for him. JMO>

Broderick Jones should be firmly entrenched at LT by now and Chuks should be at RT. I can’t understand some of Tomlin’s decisions for the life of me.

 

Gosh, even Kendrick Green was looking legit with the Texans before his injury.

 

He has looked better at RT because even as rookie he is likely the best T on the team, but he was drafted for the left side, then need to draft a RT and then C 9or get one in FA if they have the bucks). I still think the G's they have can get the job done with the right coach and better scheme.

 

But I thought it was the offensive coordinator all these days. Perhaps the offensive scheme doesn’t allow him to Block well. Lol

No. That is where you are wrong. Okorafor is terrible. The last thing they need is another offensive lineman who gets shoved into the backfield on running plays.

Seriously, it was no coincidence that the running game got much better the moment they got Okorafor out of the lineup. Moore doesn't belong at left tackle. He needs to figure out how to adjust to the right side or move to the bench next season, but right now, their best combination is Jones and Moore.

 

I thought last week Moore was graded as the worst offensive lineman in the NFL.

I don't see how Chuks can be worse than that!!!

 

Apparently, you missed the 2022 season and the half of this season when Okorafor was playing.

Also, it was worst pass blocker, not worst lineman overall. Also, it was Pro Football Focus, which is often laughable.

 

I guess I am wrong. Dan Moore was not the worst OVERALL last week.
