Send Bud Dupree straight into Brady's right knee out of the gate even if it's a very late hit. Kemo to Palmer style. That way he can be suspended for 8 games and we won't have to watch his terrible play anyways. I'm sorta serious here.

I'm sure they would've found a way to schedule this game, even if they didn't play the AFC East.

I'm sure they would. If they play again next year then you'll know that the NFL supports rape.. Since that's what the pats do to the Steelers 9 outta 10 times

This is the type of thing that really irritates me, not the opponent but the unique opportunity this gives both teams to prepare. I'm sure BB has already grabbed his Steelers binder and began working on plans for a game 5 months away while Tomlin will go through OTA's, minicamp, training camp, preseason and the 1st three days of practice and just have it listed as week 1 opponent. He won't address anything Patriot specific until the Friday before the game meanwhile the Pats will have a targeted game plan on how to attack anything the Steelers do.

Everyone is overlooking the Steelers this year.

    Everyone is underestimating them.

    Everyone is doubting them.

If ever there was a time New England MIGHT not take us seriously, it's now. (Yeah... they take everyone seriously, which is one of the reasons why the cheat, er, I mean, win). New England got a tad weaker so far this off-season, and they've been known to drop games early as well. Old man Brady will show his age sooner than later. Gronk is gone.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I like our odds.

I can see it going either way.

I think starting the season with seemingly 'easier' games (e.g. the Browns) hasn't helped some of the veterans on the team start on fire. But they should all be up for going into Foxboro and giving the Pats a bloody nose. It's also likely we'll have a new look offense without AB, so there's definitely a chance for catching the Pats off-guard.

Alternatively, we could come out lethargic, Ben tries to throw it to Juju 9 times straight, and the game's over by half-time.

Still, I think this is going to be a good way to start the season with a bang.

Old MT better have them prepared early this year. The Patriots can embarrass people.

My first thought when realising they played the Pats was how they brought in an ex defensive coach before last years game and they won. That to me was odd but very proactive.

Just saw the schedule and the Seahawks and Rams games are the two that appeal to me.

If you have to play the Pats the first game is probably a good time to do so. Kansas beat them in Foxborough two years ago in the first game and even Detroit beat them early last year iirc. They are slow starters, admittedly so are the Steelers. It’s probably a 60/40 game in favour of the Pats but certainly not a lost cause.

Patriots go 0-4 to start the season and Brady breaks an arm. You heard it here first.

They then win 15 games in a row and trophy #7 with Brady missing an arm and a penis

I truly don't understand how the Patriots get an easy schedule nearly every year. The NFL's bias towards them is unreal.

Also, I have a great feeling about the Steelers this year. I think we play together, Ben cuts down on turnovers since he's no longer forcing the ball to AB and the defense actually holds it together.

    Here's my way-to-optimistic schedule prediction:

    at Patriots- L
    Seahawks- W
    at 49ers- L
    Bengals- W
    Ravens- W
    at Chargers- W
    Dolphins- W

    10-6

Watt hit Brady high, Dupree hit 'em low. We both start off slow, Ben needs to take more reps in pre-season to get in sync with Moncrief.
