Long time coming honestly. From not trusting Mason to unreal play calling, he did this himself. I wish him all the best.

1 down... Butler should be next if its true that Tomlin was controlling the D.

Are you really fired if they just don't resign your contract?

Any how, wonder how this plays into Ben coming back.

I can't see Ben being under a new coordinator with maybe one year left, unless they just promote Matt Canada, and if Ben likes Canada.

But maybe they don't care what Ben likes and doesn't like any more.

Maybe they are gonna move on from Ben?

    I wish Randy the best.

What does everyone think of Brian Schottenheimer as potential OC? Seattle fans seem think he was scapegoated.

Or do we go in-house with Matt Canada?

Is he an Offensive minded Coach? I thought about him the other day. Just wasn't sure if he was Offinsive or Definsive minded.

Really not fired though. Just not resigning him. It's a start but I would be happier if they flat out fired Mike Tomlin and brought in a new coach with an entirely new staff.

Blow this train (wreck) off the tracks. It's been going to Nowheresville for a long time now.

There's no contract for him to choose to resign or not. The Steelers didn't offer a new contract to him... YOU'RE FIRED!!!

    Honestly that was quick.

Fittipaldo was on the radio yesterday stating it was going to be a couple of weeks before they made any staff decisions.

They're going cheap and are going to have Tomlin take that over as well.

Gee, I wonder if they consulted with Old Man Ben. If not, will he demand to be traded? Will he throw a hissy fit?
