The time has come for new coaching blood on this team. Tomlin has been stale now for years and Matt Canada is an absolute disgrace. Tomlin needs to be held accountable for all of it. This team is not even consistently competitive. Now, they wont' get rid of Tomlin in season; but, they better get rid of Canada and right NOW. The Rooney's need to be held accountable as well, changes must be made, and they must initiate them. This is NOT The Steeler way... this is NOT the standard. I am sick and tired of Mike Tomlin's arrogance and the way he talks to the media and public and his rhymes. He feeds media funny things so they run with it???? .... c'mon give me a break, is the man 18 ??? The man is in no position to act cocky at all nor about anything. This city is used to WINNING.. and Tomlin has not won a playoff game in how many years now? The team comes unprepared and honestly they don't even look like they want to play and win. So what is going on with the coaching staff???? Rooneys????

This is way too late to fire Canada at this point....The time was last year during the season but now the damage is done because of their stubbornness

I agree that Canada needs to go NOW. A message needs to be sent. But we won’t do that and do you know why? Because of Rooney’s arrogance. We are, after all, the great and mighty Pittsburgh Steelers who used to compete for Super Bowls! We don’t do things that way! In fact, we don’t ever fire a coach for non-performance, we simply don’t renew their contracts. No matter how bad they are and how much damage they are doing to the team, Rooney won’t allow them to be fired if he still has to pay them. He’s a cheapskate!

The Steelers now remind me of the Great and mighty Wizard of Oz. We appear to be strong and powerful based on past reputation, but when you pull back the curtain we’re just a decrepit, old and weak shyster.

It's not to late, we are averaging 50 yards in the 1st half, what do we have to lose?

He has no feel for flow of the game. He flashes it at times, but he can’t get it.

Maybe he needs to be on the sidelines?

I think they are very competitive for a very high draft pick next year

451 offensive yards for Houston and only 225 yards(and 53 at halftime) for Pittsburgh is just :facepalm::facepalm:

Fire Canada?! That is just the tip of the iceberg for what the Steelers need to do.

Someone explain how a open target is more open under a different coach, a open target gets thrown better to by a different coach. I hated the Canada hire, but You same people told Me Trubisky just needed a better Oc....., Canada just needed to not have Ben, but now I'm supposed to believe You when you say firing Canada will Make KFP see open target, and throw better to them??? LoL . You Huys haven't been correct yet....what makes You believe You are now???

    Look better?!

How about feel better?! Sam Howell may not ever be a legit Top 5 QB but having a great OC like Eric Bieniemy can greatly alter how much a QBs confidence can impact a game. Hell, as great as Patrick Mahomes is, his confidence in Reid and vise versa are what allow them to set themselves apart from other teams.

Now, are there exceptions?! Sure. Josh Allen is basically the Offense while Justin Herbert is just simply ridiculously talented and freakishly gifted to the point where even if the OC has a hiccup or two, he can overcome. Sadly, Kenny Pickett is neither and thus, needs an OC who can maximize his abilities; the Offense as a whole doubly so.

Yeah I heard that about Kordell, Trubisky, Danny Dimes in NY, Mike Vick, Tanahill, and on ,and on, and when that proves to not be true....then people say....well they ruined Him. No....He just wasn't ever that good. Just like the fans in Ravens just knew it was their OC that was holding Lamar Jackson passing game back....yet it's worse this year than last year, but they just knew it was. LoL

Vick had a great year in 2010 with Andy Reid after a few years in jail.Tannahill was good when he had a very good OC with the titans.Lamar is great so far this year....I am not sure what is your point...Like I said,it take both

Nah, just like always, they'll scratch out just enough wins to avoid getting a top 10 pick, but not be good enough to be a contender. Smack dab in the center of mediocrity.

He needs to be sitting on the couch eating Cheetos far away from the Pittsburgh Steelers. I believe this might be Tomlin's fall on the sword. If he went to Art II and said he felt that Canada needed to be replaced I believe it would have happened. Tomlin wanted him to stay.
I believe Canada will be here till the end of the season then the whole coaching staff can pack their bags including Tomlin.
