The Detroit tie does not assist either. 9-7 is a lot better than 8-7-1. That also would have been in handy.

I hope Ben goes out a winner tomorrow but any talk of the Jags beating the Colts is crazy. Colts win 31-13.

I’ve went to the game at 1:00 in Pittsburgh on Sunday and drove home 10-1/2 hours afterwards and went to work on Monday.
    Just sayin’

If LA/Vegas tie after things go the Steelers way. I’d be done with the NFL

The money line on the Jags is +700. Don’t waste your time waving Pom poms on a msg board. Turn your passion into cash! Maybe you can borrow a grand from Mom and win enough to move out of the basement!

I’ve done that like four times. I think 3-1 in those drive through the night games.

It would be very very very suspicious to say the least. I'd probably throw in my terrible towel on the league as well.

I hate driving anything over 4 hours. Too stressful for me. I don't even like driving 35 minutes to work. Previous job I worked from home several days a week for about 7 years. From the bedroom to my computer was my ideal commute.

Maybe Colts start cramping because it is so warm in FL?

Very few times have I or will I root for Jacksonville. Got no choice I guess. Would definitely change my feelings about them if we win and they were to open the door to the playoffs for us.

I have never lived farther than 20 mins from My job, and don't ever plan2. Except when I was playing music out, but that's a whole different thing.

The tie isn't as big a deal as the Raider/Charger games.

Had they won instead of tying the Lions, they'd still need help today. If they were 9-7, they'd still lose any tiebreakers with the Colts (conference record), Chargers (H2H) or Raiders (H2H).

They'd have a chance to tie the Bengals but still lose the tiebreaker (H2H), The Patriots (conference record).

The only thing it would bring back into play is a possible tie with the Bills, but that would required the Jets to win @ Buffalo.

So their path in beating Detroit instead of tying would be

Win and Colts lose/tie @ Jacksonville

    or

Win and Buffalo lose @ home vs Jets AND Pats win/tie @ Miami

    or

    Raiders/Chargers tie

The only thing the Lions tie took out of play was the Bills losing the Jets @ home and the tie between Chargers/Raiders. So was the tie really that harmful?

Actually they were somewhat fortunate to get that tie - Lions missed a makeable FG. Had they lost that game, they'd be eliminate already.
