Steelers need jags to win!

I get home about 2 1/2 hours after the game, but that's not all driving. I park next to the stadium which is convenient going in but the heart of traffic after the game. So I stay inside for a while.

 

Are you planning a boycott until they change the game time?

 

Not me. I’ve retired for the 4th and final time. I can sleep in now. Although night games are way past my normal bed time, and my wife is not fond of them. She didn’t go Monday night. I rented 3 friends to go with me.

 

Had they beat Det instead of tying, they’d pretty much be in the same situation they’re in now. Indy by beating Jax and the LV/LAC winner would be 10-6. But all would win tiebreaks over 10-6 Pit, either on conf record or head to head.

The only impact the tie w/Det has is now an LV/LAC tie keeps them out. If they’d beaten Det, an LV/LAC tie would get them in. Probably increases their playoff chances by some tiny amount.

 

I’d be down for some of that temporary friendship if it means going to a game.

 

Two games really destroyed the Steelers chances at least making the playoffs.

Raiders game, we were down 16-14 in the 4th quarter in a winnable game.
Chargers game, took 3 point lead with 3:34 left and couldn't make a stop.

Win either one of those games, and it be a win and in for the Steelers this Sunday.

Yes, very possible. Maybe if his receivers don't fumble twice in OT near FG range it may have had a little bit different outcome. MR haters are going hate no matter what. Unless something changes, he's our stater next year so what are they going to do then?

Watching this mess. It has nothing to do with hate for me. I hate other things. He just doesn't have it. He has nothing shown us to hope that he will be more then a mediocre backup. And he is more like a bad version of immobile Big Ben. What kind of different offense style do u want install for him?

 

I’ve come to realize someone can’t jinx us anymore than wearing my lucky underwear for a whole season helped us win.

 

When business travel existed, I used to go to the Caribbean and Australia for work. Cricket is a big deal in Aus and the English Cariibean. When West Indies played in India or Aus or NZ matched would start late at night and go to early morning, the locals would get up at 2am and watch what they could before work.

England hosted the Rugby World Cup a few yrs ago. NZ played Aus and the match started after midnight for fans in those countries. But they got up and watched.

 

I'd like to see one where the QB is under center. Something Ben avoided like the plague.
