This is an interesting list considering several hall of famers were only selected once and other hall of famers never selected. Jack Ham won defensive player of the year and did not get selected as the Steelers MVP. It might be that Blount was slighted by not being DPoY. I would imagine some of the selections were who hasn't won it yet. Of course it is tough when a player is going up against a bunch of other hall of famers.

The surprises for me are that Roethlisberger and Polamalu have only won it once each. Six times a wide receiver has won it (AB 4 times) since Roethlisberger became the Steelers QB. TJ Watt might become the first to win it three years in a row next year.

Funny that Ben and O'Donnell both only won it once. I guess they are equal.;+)

Watt deserved the honor just like he deserves the DPOY award which I hope he receives.
