It's times like these that I seem to find the best deals on eBay.
Price of tickets drop too.
While people across the Internet are crying about the Steelers I'll be scooping up all the good deals.
Great time to build my collection.
Just got a Jarvis Jones signed jersey for $45

 

Good to know. The stuff usually costs a fortune.

Hmmm... any Anthony Chickillo jerseys you could find? eBay is acting up on me.

 

I don't think anyone will ever beat the Roethlisberger authentic jersey purchase that my wife picked up for me from a yard sale for $5.

 

Of course, you'd be better off if you took the Steeler opponent with the points this year too.

 

My buddy sets up at the local sports collectibles shows. I'll give it to him and he'll triple my money. Steelers fans love their collectibles.

 

Jarvis is not gonna be a Steeler next year.

I don't think Jarvis could give ME $45 for his signed jersey. LOL! I'm glad you're happy though and I will definitely keep that in mind when people are asking me about Christmas presents. I mostly just do throwback jerseys for myself because I just don't wanna buy a dude's jersey to watch him leave in a couple of years for more cash. I generally like defensive jerseys the best too but these days I'd have a hard time wearing a current player's defensive jersey with exception of probably Heyward and Tuitt. At least as far as the newer players go.

 

I know a guy (wink wink) that buys those China jerseys and the sells them at the flea market and makes enough money to pay his mortgage most months.

 

Dang. A flea market is also a place to get a cool shirt with a cool looking wolf on it too. Like those ones Dwight was wearing at Jim and Pam's wedding dinner. Also if you're a fan of NonAthleticSportCenteredAroundRednecks you can usually find some good merchandise such as a shirt insinuating that Jeff Gordon is a homosexual. LOL!!!

 

Don't be talking about Gordon!

 

THEM THERE'S FIGHTIN' WORDS! LOL! I'll tell you something hilarious about a local flea market here. There is this guy named Chuck that had tons of vintage action figures and I collect them and have for years and used to buy them from him a lot. Well I went for a long time without getting anything from him because of ebay and comic book conventions so a couple of years ago me and my buddy decided to try and go back and see him. So we pull in and there are TONS of Mexicans all over the place and not hardly an english speaking person in sight so we go in and about the only booth in there was a dude selling those funny NASCAR and wolf shirts. LOL!!! Then when I was pastoring down close to that flea market I had a guy that went to that church who was a K9 cop (not Jim Belushi or Tom Hanks) who told me that flea market had a burglar one night and he got called to go there and he couldn't see anyone because it was dark. So he said "If you don't show yourself I'm gonna let my dog loose in here!" So the dude won't give up so he lets the dog loose and the dog finds a Mexican wrapped up in a huge rug and when that dog gets to him he starts BEGGING for that dog not to eat him up. LOL!!! I can never think about flea markets again without thinking about that story he told me!

 

For $45 I'll sell you a Mike Tomlin.... Not a jersey or anything, just a Mike Tomlin, you gotta promise to keep him out of Pittsburgh, though.
