No, you can dislike anyone you like.

The micro penis club are the ones that think that showing her on screen for 27 seconds during a game is ruining football and they can no longer watch the games because of it.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I'm not going to stop watching football just because of her. However, 27 seconds is definitely too long to have to look at her horse face.
I couldn't stand her long before she started hanging on Kelce's jock.

But, sources say that Ron Jeremy hates Taylor Swift!
(How did we get from some Know-it-all GM wannabe to Taylor Swift opinions by a different know-it-all?)

Yeah we have to do something about his cap number. We either extend him a year and spread the money out, or we straight up tell him to take a pay cut or be released. Cam's still a good player and could be productive on our team, but he just can't count for 22.4 million dollars on the cap this year.

The Steelers will find ways to get under the cap in 2024. The Steelers will have over 100 mill in cap space in 2025.

Without knowing what contracts the Steelers give out or rework there’s no way to know if they’ll have that kind of cap space

The defense did great. the offense owes them a number of game balls this past year.

The offense needs to make sure the defense doesn't have to play all game ending up in all 3 of your ILBs getting injured among others.

The offense needs to be better at establishing drives that manage the game clock and put up points.

    Imo

While I tend to agree Rookies don't come in and win. Mr. Purdy said hello and Ben's 15-1 Rookie year. Granted Ben just had to manage a very good team that season.

In general you are right for most QB's.

On a more serious note, if there has been anything that has doomed the Steelers as of late, it is something that the likes of myself, @SteelersFanIrl@SteelersFanIrl, @S.T.D@S.T.D, @mac daddyo@mac daddyo, @Blast Furnace@Blast Furnace and @Steel_Elvis@Steel_Elvis have been saying since 2019; piss poor drafts. For that matter, this can potentially go back to even 2015! How so?

    Drafts are as follows;

Colbert's last few drafts were mostly abysmal.

2015 - only Dupree was a contributor and he has been a pretty average player for all of his career

2016 - Hargrave was the only good pick and he didn't get a second contract here

2017 - this was a very good one (Watt, Juju, Sutton)

2018 - really bad, only Edmunds and Chuks were below average conributors for a few years

2019 - Diontae Johnson... that is, more or less, this class.

2020 - Highsmith and Dotson were great picks. Dotson being used in the incorrect spot shouldn't undermine his time here.

2021 - Harris and Freiermuth are this class. Kendrick Green is the biggest bust of the Colbert Era.

2022 - Other than Pickens, not much to be excited about. Tick, tick.. Kenny Pickett... Tick... Tick.

2023 isn't listed on here for it is yet to be determined. That said, Keeanu Benton and Joey Porter Jr look to be rock solid additions. Broderick Jones really needs to go back to his spot and I am not throwing in the towel on Darnell Washington Jr.. though he needs to have a bounce back. Nick Herbig was a monster as a sub rotational piece and will likely get better.

In short?! As I said before and will again; Kevin Colbert will be cart wheeling into Canton. However, don't be shocked if these seven of eight drafts are held against him when the time to vote him in comes up.

If Rudolph leaves there will be no one left from the 2018 draft class and only DJ from the 2019 draft class. Only Highsmith from 2020 class but they got Minkah trading their first away and flipped Claypool and turned that into Joey Porter Jr.

I’ve said it before, Colberts first half of his career was better than the second half. I wonder how much of that was Tomlins influence when they began drafting for need and using the metric he loves for finding athletic prospects. They need to go back to BPA and finding football players not super freak athletes.

Khan seems to have shifted back to that philosophy.

It doesn't matter how great the D is, if your offense can only put up 1 touchdown a game.
    Pickett gotta Go.

Obviously, they won't have 120 to 140+ mill in cap space at the end of the 2024 season. They will sign players, make contact adjustments, ect.

My point is the Steelers didn't ruin or butcher their salary cap situation.

    Agreed.

That said, how much influence does Kahn have relative to Colbert. Colbert's years with Cowher showed he was capable of drafting among the best. Even during the early days of Tomlin he still was that dude. After 2014 though... oof.

How much influence did Colbert have after 2015?! Difficult to say since whatever secrets Mike and Kevin have... they sure as hell won't tell (why would they).

The Offense looked like shat until Canada was gone. Thank you Art II. Even Pickett had a solid game before getting injured.

To not criticize the defense? Please.

This team is in cap hell because of the defense. And still needs serious upgrades in the trenches and secondary. And who knows how the ILBer position is going to pan out.

Agree the defense got gashed quite a bit and embarrassingly at times. Some of that has to go on the anemic offense we had pretty much all year i would think. Injuries pile up and defenses break when their on the field that much imo.

Yes Colbert seemed to lose the magic around 2015 having been a genius up to that point. I think some of it was chasing need over BPA without a doubt.

The poor run from 2015-22 is the reason why the team never seemed to have quality depth. This led to them trading away a lot of later round picks for veterans players before the season, compounding the issue and limiting the moves you can make in the next years draft etc.

Steelers pay the stars fair market value.
The are responsible for the poor draft, resulting in more free agent
    reworking salary
    into future years cap trouble.
not doing pay cuts for players

What has really got then in trouble is the guy before.
example Garrett the the bar for Bosa who set it for tj
