That's pretty cool. How many stadiums do You have left before You've seen all of them???
I've only been 2 four different Pro Football stadiums, and one is gone now, or not used.

I can’t speak for now but I do remember there was a time when the Steelers were the only team who announced actual attendance (tickets taken) and it would take them until late third quarter early fourth to count them all

Fixing the attendance problem is simple, it should be Mandatory that all new stadiums have a retractable roof.

I actually think they are further ahead than that. I know people that got on in 03-04 that have been contacted.

I think the $4,000-$5,000 seat license fees (plus season ticket cost of top of that) are separating the contenders from the pretenders however.

Well before the Stadium addition I think attendance was usually around 59K?

Going to a games in person is an awesome experience.

It would give some teams a chance of hosting a Super Bowl.
    But not gonna happen.

They used to do that at San Diego/Jack Murphy/Qualcomm. Until the Chokers left and the stadium was torn down.....

I never thought I would warm up to the new stadium after so many good times at 3-Rivers.
    Man, I loved going there.
Stargell smacking homeruns that were actually moon shots and then the Steel Curtain crushing opponents.
    Great place.

But Heinz and PNC have grown on me.

Pittsburgh is a "small market" team supposedly.
But the fans love the team, and it is one of the best game experiences in the NFL.
    Winning solves everything.

Oh it is very much a small market team, but if you put a good product on the field the fans
will come out. Please Bob Nutting sale the Pirates to someone who will make fans want to go see
    the Pirates again.

The actual attendance is irrelevant. As long as people pay for the tickets...team does not care. Reasons actual live game attendance down last year. Covid restrictions and fear. A pathetic offense which make watching them rough on TV , let alone wasting money on parking...traffic....9 dollar beers...and 7 dollar hot dogs...etc. When you can watch on 70 inch tv at home. I think i would have been furious to actually pay and go see that Cincy Debacle live ahg. Everyone knew we we a average team that overachieved by making playoffs but no real threat in the playoffs.

Covid has definitely hurt, and the economy, as a result of Covid, has hurt attendance as well ...

Attendance hasn't been dismal at Heinz Field though ... no need for panic. It is just slightly down.

I think it will definitely bounce back.

I've been to a good # of stadiums over the years and I am biased but I think Pittsburgh is one of the best football experiences in the NFL. A lot of people like to say Green Bay is one of the best...and I agree it's good...but I've been to both many times... Pittsburgh is better.

Green Bay fans show up. That's the difference. The team FO has to be aware of the what the cause of the issue is. They just aint saying. I suspect it's a larger % of corp owned seats at Heinz. Maybe getting in and out of the stadium is a bigger issue in Pittsburgh? You have to wonder why the team is not being open about why we are near the bottom of the league in fan attendance. I get the last 2-3 seasons have been hard to watch football. I mean even a defender of Tomlin has to admit this brand of football is awful to watch. Now we get to see some really bad Qb's get destroyed. Should be great this year. lol.
