I don't care what anyone says. Bring in $1 Hot dogs and 1/2 price beer nights. The fans will be good for at least 2 wins!

Want there a pandemic the last couple years as well? With half this country worried about being around strategies? So that's actually impressive the numbers that attended the games.

So the Steelers are one a few teams that actually announce, butts in the seats. Not actual ticket sales.

As for seating licenses there is still a waiting list and has been.

Steelers also have signed a lease with the City clear back in 2000, I believe it was for 30 years.
So Steelers would be in lease violation to move anyway.

I have gone to Pittsburgh sporting events since I was a child. The fans can be fair weathered. If you put a winning and competitive product on the field or ice they show up and will pay.

If they don't think they contend they won't. In case of the Pirates they have no hope with Nutting or the way the MLB is set up.

I do not think Steeler fans are fair whether. Spoiled at times and complain a lot, but of you have bled black and gold through the 80s and remained true there is nothing Fairweather about you, lol.

    1. The games are sold out so who cares how many show up?

    2. Why would they want out of their stadium contract?

    3. Why did you skip 2020?

    4. Why didn't you include 2013 when they only had 57,311?

Attendance is down for two reasons:

1). Recovery from Covid, lots of people even now are skiddish of crowds, even more so last fall

2). The last few yrs, it’s been clear that this team wasn’t the SB contender that it had been for previous decade. That tempers enthusiasm.

As pointed out by many, the Steelers are sold out every game probably for the foreseeable future . When the weather gets cold it is tough on the elderly crowd.

True, but with that said, my dad went with me to every game until he was 83

He never saw Heinz Field but there is a brick out front with his name on it

I thought everyone announced what "Todays Attendance" was? I try to see the Steelers in person once a year, so I am slowly making why way to all the stadiums with my brother-inlaw and I think I remember always seeing or hearing what the attendance was at most stadiums.

The Broncos also announce the number of "No Shows", so the fans can Boo them.
