I’ll be watching something else during halftime as I have been lately.

 

The way the Steelers have been tracking I’ve had a feeling somebody was going to pass them. I guess we’ll see if this is the year.

 

Sad, but you're probably right. I have a bad feeling that it's going to be a long, long time before the Steelers get another sniff of a Super Bowl. Hope I'm wrong.

 

You can Google for the numerous articles that came out after he was fired in Green Bay. Local and national reports cited missed meetings, lack.of interest in game prep etc.

For Dallas it was mostly whispers and speculation out of GB that the upset the cowboys in the playoffs because McCarthy was just doing the same stuff and GB knew it all.

Locally when it broke, all the media guys bought it and indicated mostly everyone already knew.

Several former players from what I dimmly remember said it fit as well.

Rodgers is now saying nice things but he despised McCarthy at the end in GB. He gave multiple quotes saying McCarthy routinely ran out of playcalls in the second half.

All that proves is there are a lot of lame people in this world.

I guess Tomlin made Cowher have one of the smallest coaching staffs when Cowher was here in the 90s .

I wonder if its possible MT was that type of manager we all have likely had in our life and in our jobs. You know the type that does not want staff to be better then they are.
