    That means two things:
    a) Green is out too.
    b) Someone else will handle KRs, and we'll get more than 15 yards on each.

    I'm thinking Gilbert on KRs..

also saw some comments about Gilbert going back to defending Kelce like in the first game. Haven't seen a whole lot on it though

I read that Gilbert will do the kick returns. As for covering Kelce, what about Shazier? Isn't he fast enough?

He's fast enough but coverage hadn't been his strong suit, especially when the receiver he's covering is going on a vertical route.

Can't wait to see Marcus Gilbert return a kick. Nobody would want to tackle his big body. ;)

danny smith will probably have our guys chew that huge ball of gum and spit it on the field to catch the chiefs coverage teams in it. thats what he's been working on for the last couple of years i'm pretty sure. he's just been waiting for the right time to use it. bazooka joe return is on. :smiley1::cool:

Every time I see Gilbert return a kick, he just seems to accelerate quicker than anyone else they've put back there.

Surprised he wasn't used more. I guess he's taking less time to read the field, but that doesn't seem to have done Coates or Toussaint any good.

Gilbert returns a kickoff for a TD and a pick 6 to send us off to the afccg
Green, chick, and Matthews come back healthy for afccg!!

There was a lot things that surprised me with the kick returns and kickoff teams. Most of them were not good surprises.....

Yup, something about his turn and run that just isn't quite good enough to maintain position.

If he's faking and dropping he's fast enough to get in a lane, but his body positioning is just not good enough. I dare say Timmons is better even though he's slower.
