Was watching the Vikings vs Saints and that stadium was still packed even after it appeared the Vikings were going to lose. Very supportive and appreciative fans there.
Our fans can't get in the stadium on time and when there's even a hint of losing they run out.
I've been to about 20 Steelers home games and win or lose I'm in my seat for pregame activities and have never left before the final whistle.

Its true. Stadium was half empty today after the Jaguars went up 42 to 28. Plenty of time left and the Steelers were still in it. If not for the onside kick things could have been real interesting.

Thought that Jags fan who told me off the other day hacked your account. That was spooky.

I stayed the whole game. It did get extremely hard cheering for a defense that couldn’t stop Bortles....

I've been to other stadiums and they tailgate too. KC comes to mind. They party hard and pack the stadium.

My boy and I stayed until the last second ticked off.

I will say it was pretty chilly, but I think a lot of fans are good at math..... in the end we still lost.

I will add.... the onside kick with over 2:00 plus two time outs.... was the deal breaker.

Glenn, your all inclusive comment just insulted about 10,000 of us. But I do understand where you are coming from.

Yeah ... it is pretty pathetic our Stadium looks empty.

I've been to about a game a year since 2003:

I'm not really sure what to say? Fans at Heinz field are always slow to get in and LOVE to disappear for half the Second and half the Third Quarter for Halftime break.

My evil theory is the old guard who have had all those season-ticket club level seats for generations are too old to really be into it and brave the weather. And most people come in from out of town for games and like to leave early to get to the airport or on the road. Pittsburgh itself couldn't fill that stadium.

I'm obviously talking about the fans who bug out early. The spoiled ones who can't handle any adversity. Thanks for being supportive and hanging in there til the end brother.

Once upon a time as a kid I wanted to leave a game early because it was cold and I thought we couldn’t win. My dad said no. He said we stay and root for our team until there are zeros on the clock. On that day I saw Franco make the immaculate reception. Since then, the idea of leaving early has never crossed my mind. I also never miss the introductions. I do occasionally recycle beer.

Ok, I’m also taking insult to this somewhat since I’m old guard and have club seats. It’s not the old guard. We are die hard. Why do you think we are still there? But I agree with your general thoughts. I sit around a bunch of people who don’t give a crap, got the tickets from some company, and are fair weather fans. I’m commonly sitting in the rain with just my wife and the 2 people to my left. I miss the common folk I sat next to for 30 years in peanut heaven at Heinz Field.

I’ve had a season ticket for 48 years and I still have 6 years to go just to match my dad. God bless him. There is a brick outside the stadium with his name on it.

Where were you Glenn? Sitting at home in the warm? Not sure I’d go casting stones if I were you.

I sat next to a couple from Virginia and saw a sign from a Florida fan below me. The only weak fans I saw.... were the ones that struggled to stand up in line to recycle beer (saw one guy almost face plant into a urinal.....)

I could be wrong, I'm sorry for the insult, but sounds like we are seeing the same things? Maybe Corporate America is killing our home field advantage?
