I can't tell you how many times I've walked out to sun in my eyes in both Chicago, and in New Orleans.

 

I never noticed that last season. I was posting in the game day thread and seemed like I was right on time with the plays and everyone else?
I'll have to pay more attention to it this week.

 

YouTube tv has the Sunday ticket.
Plus it's about a 1/3 cheaper than Directv was for close to the same plan

 

You're right JEH, more than once I had to stop them from tossing you in the dumpster Sunday morning at the bar.
Looking forward to another "fun" season of Steelers football with you and the gang. Hope you have your abacus all lubed up so you can keep track of all the in-game stats. I use pebbles in hollowed out holes in a chunk of bedrock.

 

Having grandparents from 1 hour west of Dracula's Castle (as the bat flies) near Transylvania Romania, I have to avoid those types of situations.

Cool, you have a bloodline back to Romania. I've never been but I have such an old world image of it.

 

Can't imagine you get many Steeler games out there unless you pay for the package. And I just checked and you have them.

 

Actually I inherited this task from JEH who was taking a nap one Wednesday and everyone was yapping for the 506 TV Map so I did the Christopher thing and stole it from him. He's been grateful ever since (I think). I just re-checked the schedule and it's possible that the Steelers will be on local LA TV stations (which I get even being some 300 miles north) for 6 of the first 8 games playing both the Chargers and Raiders as well as 2 national SNF and 1 MNF games in that span. Same thing happened last year with all the West Coast teams playing the Steelers. Funny how the Sunday Ticket package still doesn't make much sense even out here on the opposite Coast. For games not on live, I defer to NFL+ app and watch the delayed rebroadcast as soon as the real game ends and without commercials!

 

I actually got stuck in a recycling dumpster for a while once

I accidentally tossed beer bottles into the cardboard recycling

Rather than being a jerk and not caring I climbed up the parts they use to lift the dumpster and jumped in and tossed my beer bottles into the bottle dumpster next to it

Then I looked at the completely smooth walls of the big dumpster I was standing in

Let me mention I’m old out of shape with a fake hip

Eventually I moved trash into one corner and got out

 

Actually over the last couple of years it has not been bad.

I can just see it - an elderly married couple walking down the alley taking a shortcut to the Bingo Hall spot you in the dumpster - "Look honey, they're throwing out a perfectly good antique couch (potato)!"

 

Dangit. Got the Saints. Guess I'll need to find a link to watch it on my phone at the in laws
