Chiefs are the favorite to repeat obviously the Steelers come in at 21 tied with NE Seattle and Tennessee.

Vegas is not as bullish as some on this board.

I think we should be around 15th or so next season. Im looking at 2024 as the season that the window really opens.

I would agree. That is what happens when You have the best Qb in the NFL.
I mean be serious with yourself...You got forsure
    1. Mahomes ,and he will be only 3rd in price for His cap hit. LoL. That means 2 other Qbs will be more against their teams caps. LoL
    2. Burrows
    3. I guess Josh Allen???
    And after that.....
    4. Whatever ,and whoever You want to argue about, and so on....
    5. Whatever
    6. Whatever
    7. Whatever, and so on...

Mahomes by the end of the offseason probably will be like the 10th highest paid because some of the top guys are up for sn extension. Chiefs got the best player in the game on a bargain actually lol.

It really depends on what happens in the offseason. It's too early to give overall sb projections. The only certain I'd say rn is the chiefs should be the favorites until proven otherwise.

I feel the same. They hopefully will take strides this year, get into the playoffs and win one. If not it's a failure and will be a set back.

The Chiefs are going to win multiple Super Bowls. That's just reality.

I wouldn't call making the playoffs and not winning a playoff game a failure. Especially if they play one of top qbs in the conference.

Vegas Odds are probably where they should be.

History is we have about 3 playoff wins in the last 10 years.

Where all the successful Super Bowl contenders in either conference attempt to go North of 30 points almost every contest. Where we often struggle to top of 21 in lots of contests.

Why would Vegas be bullish ?

But, things can change I guess, but Steelers offense is gonna have to start ballin if they want to be taken seriously.

They also somehow made a team with pretty much no QB a 2 point underdog in the NFCCG. So many of us won that bet and then lost it all in SB:(

This got me to thinking. What are the Steelers up against next season?
Who will be challenging for the Super Bowl?

    AFC EAST
No doubt, Josh Allen and the Bills. They chocked big time against the Bengals. Allen's rise might mirror that of Farve who couldn't beat the Cowboys at first.
Miami - Tua doesn't get the credit he should and the concussions are a factor. None the less, if he's healthy, the Phins will be in the race.
Pats - Hard to count them out. I like Mac Jones and I think he's going to be better. But I think NE isn't a great team anymore.
Jets - They just ruin everything. If they get Rodgers, he'll suck.

    The North
This looks to be a bad@ss division.
Bengals - Burrows can carry a team.. and we have to face him twice and then maybe in the playoffs.
Ravens - I dunno. Lamar isn't worth all that dough.
Browns - They are like the Jets but I think they will be better in 23.

    The South
Jags - Should add a few more pieces and Lawrene has another year under that system.
    Titans - not in 23.
    Colts - No threat.
    Texans - No threat.

    The West
    Chiefs - they'll be back.
Chargers - This is another QB that can win. If they find some defense and get it together, they can make some noise.
    Raiders - No threat.
Broncos - Payton, hmmm. They have a Defense. Wilsons personal trainers are gone.. I think the team doesn't like him.

To summarize I think it is the same cast, Buffalo, KC and the Bengals that the road to the Super Bowl goes through. Pittsburgh has to rise above the Dolphins, Jags, Chargers and maybe Pats.
I think they can make a showing, with some nifty additions/upgrades.

    Good points!

My take: Please let us move to the NFC where at the present moment "The Hurt" seems to be the only top line QB. I laugh when people tell me I'm forgetting about Aaron Rodgers. I say, "you mean the guy that sat on the couch watching Playoffs along with the rest of us?? :)

Never know how things will shape up for 2023. Maybe the NYG QB will improve?????????

it seems in this age of dumbing down the league that 2-3 teams flip from the playoffs, from 1 yr to the next. Maybe we get in the back door next year, maybe, at #7. Chargers will rise one of these years. If the Raiders get Rodgers, they will be tough. Ravens might be odd man out, with a new offense, if Lamar is gone.

To correct myself... the Billed Choked, not chocked. :roflmao: That was just goofy.

To address your point, yes, there's always that mix. I think KC, Buffalo and the Bengals will definitely be in the running.
The Chargers are an interesting team, that QB is a good one.
Brandon Staley is a young coach, and he's from the defensive side of the ball, which is unheard of in Charger lore.
He'll adjust his staff which I think will help them.

The Raiders with Rogers could make some noise. I agree.

The Ravens are tough to get on board with. They need some roster moves and an OC and I'll be unpopular, but a better QB would go a long way.
It grinds me, but Cleveland might overtake them with a few right moves.

Cleveland will be interesting if Watson isn’t washed up and gets to play all season and camp. He looked real bad last year though he might be done from missing all that time.
